A week or so ago, I thought up this idea for a forum game. Here's what you do: Someone (starting with me) posts a simple word. Could be real. Could be made up. Then everyone who posts afterwords adds something to the word. if you absolutely can't think of a way to add on to the word, that's when you post a new word, and then the cycle continues. The goal is to end up with a totally nonsensical word. it doesn't even have to be grammaticaly correct. Also, the changes in the word must be gradual. You can just go from the simplest word to some really complex one. Example Poster 1: big Poster 2: bigger Poster 3: biggering Poster 4: biggestering'D! Poster 5: rebiggestering'D! Poster 6: prerebiggestering'D! Poster 7: prerebiggesteringed'D! Poster 8: Ugh, I can't think of a new one! Lesee....new word is: run. And so on. And that's the end of the example. I LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS!!! Okay, okay, um...my word is: time. |
