But he got sworded by a peasant. Knights are much better at swording stuff. Just look at the following stats:

Peasant

Strength: 03
Intelligence: 05
Wisdom: 12
Constitution: 04
Dexterity: 06
Charisma: 03

Special Skills: Peasant stuff, you know, driving carts, digging in the mud, hitting rugs with cats, etc.

Knight

Strength: 18
Intelligence: 05
Wisdom: 06
Constitution: 18
Dexterity: 12
Charisma: 15

Special Skills: Knight stuff, you know, swording stuff, spearing stuff, flailing stuff, lancing stuff, etc.

With all his Strength and Special Skill bonuses, a knight could easily do at least 20 times as much damage with a sword as a peasant could.

I'll bet that Trog-Sword is at least a +3 against Burninators, but that bonus barely offsets all the peasant's penalties. Besides, Rather Dashing probably roled a Critical Miss, meaning he lost his sword and did no damage.

They're typical AD&D stats. I estimated based on the relative training, abilities, and physical conditioning of the two character types (usually, people don't like to play the Peasant class; the knight is most likely a Fighter class).

Um, did anyone else have trouble downloading it? I've made sure I have the latest Flash update and tried saving it on my hard drive. It's the only thing on the site that doesn't work for me!

I beat it with 138 points. The only thing I used the walkthrough for was to find out where to stand to throw the baby.

A few more fun things:
Type "cheat" anytime
type "this sucks" anytime
after beating the archery game, ask the archers about Trogdor
try to take the baby from the lady
at the river with the rock in it, type "take rock"

If you don't like them, you don't have to read them. We're just discussing the game in general, and sharing whatever information we have. I think we've concluded that no one knows what the last item is.

Try typing throw baby at the lake before you get the baby. TBC made me proud to be a Gamefaqs user.

ummm... you can only give the baby to the wrinkly old guy once.

... after you move the rock at the house and it says that if you cut your arms and legs off you might be able to squeeze through, type cut arms and legs off
when your in the house type take dresser

This is the best game I've ever played. It's up there with Jak II and Ratchet and Clank.

Man, you young'uns really missed out on an entire genre. The original Space Quest and King's Quest games were just as entertaining, whimsical, and irreverent as this one, but took days to complete. All they lacked were the Homestar Runner inside jokes.

Sierra (maybe not sierra, but with their permission) recently re-released the first kings quest. I am sure I can find a link somewhere. They updated the graphics, but the original gameplay is all still there.

I miss the glory days of adventure gaming. Kings Quest, Space Quest, Hugo (and his house of horrors, girlfriend, and jungle adventure).

Commander Keen. All of the other titles by Apogee.

Now I am getting all nostalgic

You need to get the riches from Jhonka by killing the Kerrek, getting muddy, then hiding in the hay to get the riches. Then you give the lady the riches and she gives you the baby. You then put the baby in the hole.

Which hole? I've given the baby to the old man, and thrown it in the lake, and now I'm kind of stuck.
Edit: Sorry if I seem ignorant, I've never been good with these types of games.

You put in " Put baby in the hole" when you're near the hole in the cottage. :goblin:

But...but...
There isn't a hole, as far as I can tell.

EDIT: Never mind, found it.
