In a recent interview, Matt Chapman wrote:
We also have our first large scale game in the works that involves the main characters.

Um... Discuss? Or was this already known about?

Anyway, that sounds exciting to me.

I think Matt Chapman is referring to the Homestar Runner RPG game that has been in the works for quite some time now. I'm not quite sure, but that seems like the most logical answer.

Click here for da Wiki link!

Maybe? Hope that helps... ;)

I don't know... it sounded like something he was doing personally. Wasn't the Atari RPG cancelled, or was that just speculation?

Oh, this is probably what he was talking about. The significant part:
Quote:
We're also working on a big adventure game like Peasant's Quest except more like the Lucasarts point n' click style games. And this one will feature the actual characters from the website, not made up characters like Thy Dungeonman and Peasant's Quest.

Well, I'm excited. I love point and click games.

In other words, like Monkey Island, LSL, and Maniac Mansion? Great, 'cause I like MM.

I was just thinking. If this new game is going to be a point a click game featuring the main characters, does that mean it'll be set in Free Country, USA? And does that mean we'll get to see the outside of Strong Bad's house for once?

You could use an emulator. That's if the Homestar Runner RPG ever comes out.

That's a different game. The RPG may or may not ever happen. The big game he was talking about will probably be for the website.

That would be super cool if you could get that for Wii virtual console.

The Homestar Runner RPG was going to be for the Atari. Can you play Atari games on the Wii?

I'm not sure if they have Atari on VC, but it wouldn't matter because even if Atari is on there it's not likely that they would release a homebrew game. But I don't really know much about it, I don't have a Wii :(

I hope its a point and click, because I love that style, especaly when its funny, which it must be if its Homestar. The atari game would be cool if I had one.
