What do people think would make a cool new game at h*r.

I think maybe a cheat commandos action style platformer would be pretty cool. Yeah, that'd be cool.

Whoah! Great minds think alike! I was going to send an email to TBC requesting exactly that. It would be great if it had a system like The Lost Vikings, where you travel in a small group, with each member having a different ability. They should also have a non-2600 RPG game online! That would be so awexome.

What I got from this is that they should make it online? Well, remember how Strong Bad's Bored turned out? All squashed and bloody? Well, I'm guessing the same thing would happen with an online game, but worse, since the latency caused by it would devastate the game (not to mention to time it takes to load things on the site) from the high amount of accesses, it would just... be... very.... bad.... Beef. Stu.

Yeah, thats true, it'd take sooo.... long to do anything, especialy for those of us with a dial-up connection.

Hmm. I was thinking of a game along the lines of Strong Sad's Tai Chi or Stinkoman's future adventure. Maybe Strong Sad's tai chi would be like Dancin' Bubs. And Stinkoman's future adventure could parody the Megaman series. What do you think of those ideas?

Yeah, a Stinkoman game would be so awexome! I'd love to see more of him, but I think the Strong Sad tai chi game would be a little borring if it was like Dancing Bubs. Oh! How about if it was a dancing game, like Dance Dance Revolution. That would be neat.

Yeah, I guess it would be kind of boring. I did consider the DDR idea, but I don't know if TBC have the technology to implement that for one of their games. Plus, you would have to buy a pad. But if I got to see all the Homestar characters dancing, then it would be worth it.

They could just have the game on the site and you can use the arrow keys for the controls.

They could, but... It just isn't the same without a dance pad. I see what you're saying, though. I wouldn't mind using the arrow keys.

I think they should have an old-timey Pong game.

They should make a game based on Dangeresque 2, and to beat every level, you're gonna' have to jump!

That would be interesting. What would the game be like? Text based? 2D side scroller?

side scroller prob'ly. A text based Dangeresque game would be funny though too. It'd be called..."THY DANGERESQUE"

Hey - how about a Prince of Persia-style swashbuckling sidescroller?

Maybe TBC could combine Mega Man style gameplay with Prince of Persia style. That would create a pretty cool game with Stinkoman as the main character! (as mentioned in previous posts)

Lol... Um... I think TBC is done with the text adventures. The next game is probably going to be either graphics with text (like Peasants Quest) or something else. Well, then again, I could be wrong. You never know.
I do think they are in need of a Dangeresque game, though. (or at least a full-length Dangeresque movie with DVD extras)

I'd like to see that snow globe thing in game form, since I love Peasant's Quest and a sequel would be cool! I already thought of some stuff to put in the game. Part of the game would be journeying to your nana's house to give her the snowglobe. The Jhonka would be like the Kerrek, appearing in the Kerrek's tracks 1 and 2, and at his cave. The challenge would be getting past him without him eating the snowglobe, because Jhonkas like to eat snowglobes.

You'd then get to your nana's house and give her the snowglobe, but Trogdor would scare the crap out of her, and she'd pass out. You'd have to go to the inn and put some Old Lady Rub on her to make her conscious again.

Can't think of anything else that would happen in the game. If I knew flash, I'd definitely make this game. Definitely.

Pretty good. I really think a Stinkoman MegaMan game would seriously be awesome.

I think both ideas are awesome. Especially a game featuring Strong Sad. We don't get much of him lately. ;) Good Idea, Man![/quote]

Personally, here's some ideas i have:

A "pokemon"-like game where you catch different colored The Cheats and rasie their hit points, feed them, discipline them by kicking them. In turn, depending on how much they like you, they do little "capers" for you or bring you stuff, or generally be your little virtual lackeys.

And also, implimenting the Strongbad's Rewards could be cool too. Not sure how all these ideas would converse into an actual game, but they are good concept ideas, i think. I would call it "Gotta Get a-The Cheats!" or something. Or "Cheat-a-pons".

I funny game like the "Mario Teaches Typing" or something with Homestar teaching you typing... his way. Or a Homestar "hangman-type" guessing letters type game where he says stupid stuff when you miss a letter.

"Strong Mad's Tacklemania!" I'm not sure how THAT would work... but the title is cool ^_- Maybe like a game sorta like those old SNES WWF games like WWF Raw, and WWF Wrestlemania.

Also "Trogdor 2: Ultimate Burnination!" It would be like Rampage... except with thatched roof-cottages of varying sizes, and lots of peasants running around to burninate and squash.

Lastly... a freaking Homsar game. It dosn't have to make sense.. or even have a real objective. Mainly just something incredibly stupid with VERY unclear objectives, no way to win, and just over all dumb (in a hilarious way)

For example the instructions: Ohhh nooo.... Homsar is searching for the golden nail on the bingo trolly. Help make cookies of the chocolate past. Don't forget to collect the level pants! Last one to climb the pit is the winner goat!

Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a H*R RPG-type game? I'd like that, but I am totally stumped on how it would work.

Hmmm. Maybe you could start out with Homestar, then gradually get all the characters to join your team. Enemies might include Fluffy Puff Marshmellows, Cheat Commando action figures, and cans of water soup. Attacks might be as follows:
Homestar: Terrific athelete kick
Strong Bad: Super Grumpy Punch
The Cheat "Yeah, man. I'll knaw your face off." attack
Pom Pom Kung Fu (or whatever he uses on Strong Bad in the SB email "pom pom")
Strong Mad Strong man tackle
Strong Sad Tai Chi

Those are just some ideas. What do you think?

Those are pretty good Hero. I'd like to see a game like that on the site. I'm thinking that the next game is more than likely going to be Stinkoman related.

No. Sorry, but...no. Just no. I do kinda like the ideas of a hangman game and a Homsar game. As for the RPG, what they should do is an all-out spoof of one of the popular ones...seeing as they're Nintendo fans, maybe Paper Mario (Paper Homestar?). That would be cool.

Paper mario is awesome nut it is too long to make and it would block development of cartoons and emails.

Yeah, that's true. I would rather see a new toon than a game, to tell you the truth. But Paper Homestar would be cool.

Wouldn't it be absolutely awexome if they made a Homestar Runner party game (like mario party) for all of the next generation consoles? You could start with all the regular characters and then you could unloch Trogdor and Senor and others. It would be awexome.

I like the idea of a party game, but it should be online and free! Why pay for it when it would be easier to just put it on the site where it belongs. The only problem with that is that one of the features of Mario Party is the multiplayer aspect, and someone already pointed out to me that would be hard to do.

Yeah...your probably right. But it still would be a-prettypretty cool! Online multiplayer works but It usually involves putting your name on a list and then someone challenging you...who knows?
