Does anyone know how to get through Thy Dungeonman 2 on videlectrix.com? I've never been able to get through the maze.

I got to the water dungeon thing and got bored.

WOW. You just lost the very little respect I had left for you.

You know we have a Wiki, right?

Okay, that's not quite fair, since nobody has ported the Walkthrough over yet, but I've been waiting so long to say that! Anyway, here's a link to the old version. Ignore the errors. Hopefully it'll get copied over soon.

I know I tried to copy over the map, but it didn't work very well, even when I used the code tags.

Otherwise, I didn't know whether you wanted the Walkthrough ported over or not.

Yeah, I figured out what was making the Map go wonky, and thusly I added it and the walkthrough. Hooray.

It's definetly a step up from the first one.

Well, I've decided to bump this up as a place to discuss popular text-style adventure, Thy Dungeonman II. Hope no-one minds...

Personally, I find this, like Peasant's Quest, to be one of those games that can't be beaten without having a Strategy Guide. Which is fine, because the games are no less fun this way, but sort of takes the whole pupose out of a game. Y'know, if its a game you can't beat on your own. I much preffered Thy Dungeonman numero uno myself, not nescessarily because it was better (II is obviously superior), but because I beat it on my own!

Besides, those type of games that can only be beat with strategy guides, especially online ones where the distributors won't readily distribute all their secrets, raise one intriguing questions: How are the strategy guides written?

Well, you did better than moi. I had to buy the "Thy Dungeonman Stragedy Guide" for this game. And even worse, I had to buy the "Finding the Thy Dungeonman Stragedy Guide Strategy Guide" for that. So much money wasted on crushed hopes and dreams...

What's funny is, I'm the direct opposite. I beta Thy Dugeonman II on my own before I figured out the first one. lol. After I figured out II, the first one made much more sense and was a snap. (I had never been exposed to text-style adventures).

Although... Peasant's Quest... has a warm place in my heart. LOL. Love it.
