I have complete faith in TBC that indeed, in fact, we will have Level 10 Monday!! March 21st marks the one year anniversary of the game, however. Can't believe it's already been a whole year.

Well, there's going to be his 10th birfday, maybe they'll save it for that. You could be right.

I'm banking on it being for the 1-year anniversary, but I have this suspicious feeling about Monday :|

I dunno, but lately when I start watching one specific type of toon, they magically do an update for it the week after and I become overjoyed. Back when I started watching Homestar, I had just finished the Teen Girl Squads on the Sunday before issue 10 came out. And recently, I was watching the Answering Machines for no reason around the time 13 came out. I had a random spurt of playing Stinkoman to the point of obsessiveness now...

I guess it will be the 1-year-anniversary... or never. Whichever comes first.

Do you guys read GI?

In this month's issue, Stinkoman 20x6 was rank 10 out of Top Ten Games You've Never Heard Of. This is what they said about it:

Game Informer wrote:
10STINKOMAN 20X6
http://www.homestarrunner.com/games
While many freeware games are currently attempting to push the art of game design forward, Stinkoman, which runs on most browsers, instead looks back to the heyday of NES-era sidescrolling platformers like Mega Man and its ilk. Hosted by the popular Homestar Runner site, Stinkoman displays that site's goofy sense of humor. This is most evident in its dialogue, which is a satirical tribute to the often grammar-managing Japenese to English dialogue translations of many popular 8-bit titles - One example being the "Keep Try!" that appears on the game over screen. Sure, the control won't put Super Mario Bros. 3 to shame, but it's quite entertaining, filled with funny characters and the requisite visual non-sequitors. It's defenitly a good way to to while away a few hours on a Saturday afternoon, especially for those of us who grew up in the NES era.

Sorry if I misspelled something, it's hard to read and type at the same time.

Not only that, but try and get it so that it works on those old atari joysticks, if that's feasible. Which, now I'm thinking it isn't, but it would still rock.

I think RFPT means that you should be able to use your PC's joystick to play it, although that plug and play TV thing is kinda cool, too.

Oh man, the anniversary means it should be coming out in one or two days. I'm so nervous... if I doesn't come out, then who knows when it will.

Hey, maybe they should come out with the 10th level already! It sure is taking them FOREVER. I mean, what, it's only been six months since the last level.

I have utmost faith it's coming soon. Unless the new e-mail is titanic, it shouldn't take them THIS long unless they've been lazy, but judging by the "e-mail soon" button I'm assuming their doing SOME type of work.

So, therefore, I jump to the conclusion that either:

A. They're working on the final level
B. They're saving it for around midnight; after all, Stinkoman came out on the 21st, am I right? So if they're gonna celebrate the one year anniversary of it with the last level like we've been hoping...

Yeah. It didn't come out. That's kinda sad, but well, I wasn't really even expecting it to be updated. I love this game, but I'm tired of playing the old stages over and over again. Meh.

STINKOMAN: I don't wanna make a tenth level! It's too much pressure! 1-Up ate it.

I will now proceed to slink into the darkest corners until it is released.

Maybe the 10th level is going to consist of multiple levels and several minibosses? Just like Wily's castle in Mega Man.
Nevertheless, it's taken really long so I'm expecting something big.

This is a great game! I decided to go to HR a few weeks ago after months of forgetting, and discovered the game not long after. So far I have not been able to beat the entire game through a "new game," but I have beaten every level, and every boss except for that tornado guy at the end of level 6 , using the power of continues. I wish you were able to pause though... not being able to is a problem, especially on levels like 3, 4, 7, and 9.

Hopefully level 10 will come out soon. If lucky it will be a big level.

It will never come out. It's been 6 months since the last update. Sorry.

It's a joke, just to get the Stinkoman fanboys and girls crazy and crap about when will be the next update will be.

Ahem.
Perhaps if we all e-mailed TBC about it and let them know we wanted to see the end... they'd do something?

Don't look at me, I e-mailed them. No response, though.

I just hope that you didn't say "I'm from the Homestar Runner wiki and you better make another stinkoman level!!!" or something like that.. They like us over here. Let's keep it that way.

There's nothing wrong with emailing them about wanting a new level, but don't bug them. If they want to do one, they will, eventually. Maybe. I think.
