You should totaly play as the baby. He will have adopted the name...Somewhat Debonair.

Well if there was another Peasant's Quest, I don't think Rather Dashing would be in it...since he was BURNiNATED!
But we would probably see an appearance by the baby (now grown up), and maybe there would be an action with the Rather Dashing statue.

But that's only if it did come out.

King's Quest got its series, so why shouldn't Peasant's Quest?

Oh! I got it! You'd have to go through the fortress of dragons and to get the teleporting map you'd need to fight

So you would play as the baby. You would either try to get a mirror to deflect the flames of trogdor. You realize the mirror is too small get burninated and Trogdor suffers a minor wound OR you have to collect three treasures to become friends with Trogdor. You would be able to try to bring Rather Dashing back to life.

or you could play as just a different character in a new epoch of peasant questery. Maybe not the baby, but someone else..who takes on the same quest, but with more twists and changes to it. but with the same goal to defeat trogdor.

Wait, I got the perfect idea! It would be... PEASANTS QUEST 0: TROGDOR'S QUEST

You would be Trogdor (man). As you progressed through the game you would become Trogdor (dragon-man). After beating the game you would become Trogdor (maybe just a dragon). You could try and USE AXE, but it would probably just say, "nah, that's just there for decoration."

Ah, Peasant's Quest 2: Electric Boogaloo.

It would be where you're, like, this other guy who's not related to Rather Dashing in any way, really, but, like, he, like, heard about the legend of Rather Dashing, and, um, is like inspired or some such crap, and he goes to all this trouble, and then like, gets crushed at the end. And they'd, like, put his statue next to Rather Dashing's, and, um, call him a copycat, and he'd be remembered, like, only as a copycat instead of a guy who was inspired and then made the journey against, like, all the, like, odds. The poor guy.

I hate people who talk like that.

*wanders off to the Pet Peeves thread*

Yep, that's my idea only THREE posts UP. It also includes the never used again Trogdor (man) and Trogdor (dragon-man).

I like that idea, BM. Question: Would the graphics be better or worse than the original?

Somebody called me BM. My life-long, I mean month-long dream has been achieved.

[backontopic]I'd say it would have to have about the same graphics for the characters, but a more crappy jorb on the backdrop. Lose any detail on characters and they become unrecognizable, but the backdrop kinda had good graphics in the first game.[/backontopic]

Maybe for the next Peasant't Quest game, the Brother's could go the way of abandoning the text system, and move to the icon (hand, eye, etc.) system that the King's Quest games eventually moved on to.

I can see a game called that as a parody of the old arcade "Donkey Kong 3".

(Trogdor threw rocks at your bees- or- something. Anyways, it doesn't matter! Play as Rather Dashin- who's alive- and an exterminator... Yeah. So, anyway, play as Rather Dashing and spray Trogdor with bugspray. Cuz- uh- its his one weakness. Yeah, that's it!)

Whoa- writing bad plot summaries make me thirsty- and they make my eyes bulge unnaturally... And my skin turn yellow, apparently.

Um, didn't TBC say in an interview they won't do another adventure game in the pq universe?

I remember reading that as well. Shame. It's an excellent parody of medieval game environments. I would love to have another go 'round. I hear their next adventure game will focus on Free Country USA characters, but I'd rather have another serving of Rather Dashing and Peasantry.

Either way, I'll be playing their next game the minute they dish it out.

In case you didnt notice, I made this for acontesst that died out.

Peasant’s Quest 2

Intro- After witnessing the burnination by the evil Trogdor to Rather Dashing. The Charming family decided that the peasant life was too much for them, so they moved to the medieval city of New Camelot. Mr. Charming as he was known by his new friends at the office was married and had a child named Slightly Charming. Slightly grew up hearing stories of Rather’s great attempt at slaying yon Trogdor. By this time Trogdor had succeeded in burninating all of England and part of Germany, he was a threat to the world. Slightly always dreamed of becoming a great dragon slayer someday but the only way this could be achieved is by getting help from his father. Slightly asked Mr. Charming if he could ever be a dragon slayer like Rather, but he replied “NO! It got him killed and I don’t want the same to happen to you!”

Story- You now must convince your father to let you try to slay Trogdor by becoming a master with swords and weaponry. Showing him you have enough luck to beat the beast, and expressing your 3 traits of a peasant after doing all of this you will finally be able to slay Trogdor.

Objectives-
1. Slay Mr. Slightly’s evil boss- The Wishgar.
2. Beat the odds at the thatched roof casino.
3. Slay Mr. Jhonka, the casino manager.
4. Travel to the barn and live with the pigs for 1 day.
5. Navigate the thatched roofed street market to find stylish peasant ware.
6. Steal the torch from the Medievolimpics.
7. Return to the cubicles and ask your dad to take you to Peasantry which is now a burninated wasteland.
8. Fight off Trogdor’s hoard of Kerrek.
9. Come to Trogdor’s cave and attack the end boss.
10. Get buninated like the peasant that you are.

Yeah, the gameplay is almost EXACTLY like King's Quest 2 (and 1 to an extent, I guess), and that's a huge reason why it's so hilarious to old-school gamers like me.

A few other thoughts:
- I think in keeping up with the spirit of the original KQ, you should play as someone related or close to Rather Dashing, since KQ3 was the first game you played as someone other than King Graham (his son Alexander). Finding out whatever adventures the baby went on, and then playing from his perspective, would be cool.
- As awesome as KQ5 and 6 were, I really doubt TBC would waste that much time making a full game in that kind of point-and-click style, and I wouldn't want them to. Too advanced for SB's kind. :p
- Supernova's screenshots are AWESOME. Seeing a 7-11 and McDonalds in Peasantry cracked me up.

This is what I'd do.

Once you got an objective the screen would fade and you'd be a new character, like Jhonka and Baby Lady and Grown-up-baby and the innkeeper. Maybe you'd try to dig up RD's grave to get the robe, then switch characters and see that one digging it. Jhonka would get caged by Zookeepers, and you'd have to first play as the Zookeepers catching him and then as Jhonka trying to escape. Just to make sure the plot was still there to please the plotlikers, in the end you'd be Rather Dashings' ghost and go poison Trog Dor in Trog Dor's nightmare. Once you won, it'd be hard to tell that it was a nightmare or what, though, so you'd be waiting for Peasants' (plural!) Quest 3 in 3D !
The gameplay would still be the same. Who wants to get carpul tunnels with all that point and click jargon?

nah you should just stick with one character rather than switching over and over, think about it you would keep losing all your items
