I wonder what your missions would be like as Homsar. Would they be to "paint ball all wires of freedom" or something like that? If so, it would be impossible to beat any level as Homsar.

No, its not out yet. you can find out more on the creators page: http://qotile.net/rpg.html But we really sould get more info from the brother chaps. I mean look how much "advertisments" they gave Pesent's Quest. And this game will actually cost money to buy, and its awsome cuz the atari 2600 is awsome. peace out.

yes, they put it on hold. It was SUPPOSED to be out last summer, but took too long

http://www.atariage.com/features/shows/pc5/ -Some pc5 pictures. lots of H*RPG posters and showcase.
http://www.atariage.com/features/shows/atariage_pc5/demos.html-Upcomeing games, you need to scroll down to see H*RPG. It has some interesting tid-bits. like that its comeing out this may.

If I didn't see it, I wouldn't of believed it. I need to get that!! Does anyone know where I can get that game, and like an Atari 2600? Do I have to buy the really old ones, or are they making new Atari's? Excuse my stupidity, but I need to know!

as far as i know there are no new ataris in production (but who knows). So your best chance would be looking at some pro-atari websites, or ebay. Ebay is usually easyer and cheaper. The atari 2600 usually come whith a bunch of games and controllers (and if you love the games on H*R.com and videlectics you'll love these. Here are some atari flash game samples:
http://www.simmphonic.com/programming/flash.htm# This is a short version of atari Adventure, one of my all-time favorites. also the origins of the "duck" from main page 13 and Everybody to the Limit.
http://www.groovz.com/play/kaboom/ One of the more fun and addictive atari games. Kaboom! A no footed robber and some bucket things. yha!
also most of the classic arcade games are here on the atari (asteroids, centapede, space inveders...). And if thats not enough to make you buy an atari 2600 then i dont know what is. (That was soooo unneccasary really. you said you wanted one.) But now im just rambling. peace out.

wow, as much as cool as this is being it on an old Atari 2600, i have a few questions concerning the release of this product:
1. is this game going to be sold at places like comic shops, EB games, Best Buy, or even wal-mart maybe.
2. most(about 80%) people dont own an Atari 2600, so how is the middle American man/boy/women/girl/shim gonna be able to play this?
3. on computers like mine,(which are the ones you buy at Wal-mart for $500, not ones that cost more than your house or car, like some of you!), i cant really(dont know how) use emulators, and most that i have downloaded, either contain viruses or just dont work.
4.ummm...... Garbeldina

I have an Atari 2600. I found it in my basement a few years ago. But if you don't have one, you can buy one on ebay for about ten bucks.

I do want this game a little bit, but I'm not gonna buy an Atari 2600 for it. I'm holding out till they release the game for PlayStation 2!

Geeze, yous guys.

You gotta learn to read the entire post, not just skim through!

When (if) it's finally finished and released, it'll be released to play on the Atari 2600, and on ROM.

ROM = play it on your frickin' computer.

Scroll down on the H*RPG page and you'll see that there's a ROM demo and an emulator for download.

Someone should play the demo and post how good/bad/ugly it is.

they will never put it on playstation, that is a dead dream. As an atari game HRP*G WILL be "ugly" in a manner of speaking. becouse its an atari game. The grafics will be like the main page 13, my favorite. It can also be only as big as 8 kilobytes (actualy probobly only 4) but its still gonna be awsome cuz atari is awsome and homestar is awsome. Together!!!! They are un-matchable!

Where can you get an atari 7600 or whatever one you need to play this game?

Why do you need to go out and buy an antique game system when you can get an emulator?

I downloaded the demo for it. It's pretty cool for 2-bit graphics, though there's not much to do in the demo mode besides make a little white thing whom I believe to be Homestar walk around through a bunch o' trees and stuff.

But anyways I can't wait till it comes out!!! Too bad SB is the villain... :sb:

If I remember right it was in the "What's New" box once, then disappeared from the site altogether. The demo is still out there though.

Anyone know if you'll be able to save on the Atari 2600? Most of the games are just getting high scores, and the scores don't even save. If not, I'll probably just download the ROM for the ability to save.

The site specifically states that it's code based saving. Brings back memories of blocks of a seemingly random jumble of letters, numbers, and symbols. Basically, you have to copy your password down, then put it back in to load your progress.

Yeah, I remember those games. Whenever I played this one motorcycle game, I always tried to put in the code so I could go back and not lose a race, but somehow it always new that I already lost the race.
