If it does happen, though, there should be more levels than a mere ten. Like at least 13, as I said earlier, the 12th level being called "Front Hallway", like as mentioned by Strong Bad in the 2007 fan costume commentary. And maybe they could even include the end boss of that supposed level: the vase full of peacock feathers!

It seems like this game has already been put to death, albeit prematurely.

but it still sits there and here, like a stain upon the delicate, intricately woven fabric of the homestar runner universe.

But I don't think they would ever want to take a game off their website. Even the really old games are still there.

Well, consider this: there's not much in the way of 20X6 on the website as it is, so at least they do care a little about it. I don't think it would have worked without these characters. It just wouldn't be the same.

that doesn't change the fact that it is a game of such low quality that it completely soils the rest of the site and my opinion of the brother's chaps

I think that said low quality of the game was on purpose, that it spoofed old Nintendo games.

Then I suggest you don't go on Homestar Runner then.

Look, there are people who like the game and I bet Matt and Mike Chapman worked very hard on it. If you can't say anything considerate, don't say anything at all.

Now then, I think 3 long years of waiting for this one level is downright bullcrap. If they weren't working on SBCG4AP, we would've seen on the site months ago. Now correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Johnathan move away? If so, how can TBC make SBCG4AP? I mean, if they can work on that game, they can make one last level for Stinkoman. It just boggles my mind!

As CaptainPastHisPrime said, but less harshly...

Um, DUH?

It's making fun of the horrible quality of old Nintendo games. Of coarse it's low quality.

Thy Dungeonman made fun of text games, and was a text game.
Secret Collect made fun of those horrible games on bad systems, and was a horrible game (that looked like it was) on a bad system.
Stinkoman made fun of the bad-quality-old-nintendo-games, and was a bad-quality-making-fun-of-nintendo-games-game.

And besides, it pwns groups of games on the site. It's not gonna be poof'd just because you think it is teh badz.

BRATTY RANT OVER

I think they might do it after SBCG4AP, or maybe they'll just make us wait 7 more years before making it. It shouldn't be done in SBCG4AP, but it should be mentioned, just to tease us or something.

This is 100% bull. If I don't like something, I say so. By your logic, every critic in the world would be out of their job.

uhh no it's not. From the wiki:
Quote:
This game is based on the classic Capcom Mega Man series. It also parodies the poor Japanese to English translations common to video games of that era, similar to those that appear on the current Games Menu.

are you saying that Mega Man is "low quality?" Stinkoman's terrible crap lies not with what it's trying to spoof, but with it's own design. The terrible collision detection, awful controls, would all be unacceptable in a "low quality nintendo game."

Honey, there's a difference between not liking a game and bashing a game. Simply saying you don't care about it and/or that the controls need to be improved is fine. But calling the game a quote on quote "stain" is going too far.

There are many other games on Homestar Runner. No one is forcing you to play Stinkoman 20X6 or to discuss about it. No one is threatening you to play that game. Don't like the game, that's cool with me but don't be bashing on the game.

Whew, good to get that out of my system. I don't want this to turn into a flame war... :-|

Aaaaand... Mr. Not A Real Doctor comes to save us for being off topic! So much the 10th level should be THE SUPER LONG BOSS'S FORTRESS WITH A LEVEL BASED ON EVERY PREVIOUS LEVEL ENDING WITH THAT LEVEL'S BOSS AGAIN AS SEEN IN MEGA MAN LEVEL! Whew, that was loooooooooooooong.

(deep breath)

Alright, one little game can't ruin an entire website. I honestly didn't even play (thus never seeing) any of the HR games until 2 years after i had first came to the site. I didn't like the Marshie Malloween game. Hated it. Didn't ruin my opinion of TBC.

Secondly, you may have your opinion, but there's no reason to beat into our minds you don't like it. I think it's so-so. Not my favorite. I don't have to continuisly (sp) say that over and over to get my point across.

Third, like a lot of people said, if you don't like it, don't play it. Simple as free.

Exactly. If you don't like the game, then don't play it.

Let me TOASTPAINT this thread. ;)

Earlier I was playing Frogger 2 Swampy's Revenge and near the end of the game, Lillie ends up falling in a trapdoor. Well, maybe in Stinkoman 20X6, Stinkoman could end up falling through some kind of trapdoor or go missing and 1-up would have to save him. I think another person mentioned something like that in this thread.

Eh...I don't even have a solid idea what's going to be in Level 10 because of this HUGE hiatus.

Well, I hope they use the enemies seen in the sketchbook page that came out for April 17, that says "proposed stinkoman level 10 baddies". Here's the sketch:

I have a good idea for the Level 10 and possibly 11 (part 2) Transcript:

Before Level 10.1:

1-UP: WE FINALLY ESCAPED!
STINKOMAN: THERE YOU ARE! NOW WE CAN GO HOME!
PAN PAN: BADALANG.
STINKOMAN: THERE'S AN EVIL PERSON IN THERE?
PAN PAN: BADALANG.
STINKOMAN: LET'S TEAM UP TO DEFEAT HIM!

(you'd be able to switch between Stinkoman, 1-up, and Pan Pan)

Before 10.3 (All Previous Bosses):

1-UP: OH NO! AN AMBUSH!
STINKOMAN: WE CAN TAKE THEM ON! RIGHT 1-UP?
1-UP: OKAY! LET'S TAKE THEM ON!

Between 10.3 an 11.1:

STINKOMAN: WE FINALLY GOT PAST THEM!
1-UP: BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BAD GUY?
PAN PAN: BADALANG.
STINKOMAN: OKAY, WE FIND THE BAD GUY AND CHALLENGE THE CRUD OUT OF HIM!

Before 11.3:

STINKOMAN: !!!
???: I SEE YOU GOT PAST MY TRAPS.
STINKOMAN: WE'RE GOING TO BRING THE DINNER TO THE TABLE, AND THEN WE'RE GOING TO EAT IT!
???: ARE YOU SURE? HOW DO YOU KNOW IT'S NOT ME WHO'S GOT YOU?

Maybe they're making more levels while they're done with level 10. Perhaps they'll release level 10 and 11 or so on the same day. TBC have a tendency to break those kinds of promises.

You also need to include Cheatball somewhere, too. Maybe he can be a weapon of Stinkoman's.

No, I think he should be used a major weapon by Stinkoman! At the end of the cutscene for 10.1:

STINKOMAN: LET'S TEAM UP TO DEFEAT HIM! CHEATBALL! WE'LL GIVE THEM THE CHALLENGE OF A LIFETIME!
CHEATBALL: CHEATBALL!

Cheatball is now used as a major weapon by Stinkoman. At the end of all the cutscenes mentioned here, Cheatball appears in Stinkoman's hand and says, "Cheatball!"
