I'm trying to buy less videogames, and enjoy the ones I already have.

But I've been doing that for a while now, so I do plan on buying a new game soon. Probably bioshock.

BioShock sounds worth it, however, People need to start playing the games they have all the way through. And rent first, everyone - save yourself fiddy buxx

I always found the antidote to any sort of attraction was pushing one's train of thought to yo mama, not your mother in particular Didymus, but one's own mother. For the thought of that...'attraction' towards one's mother would most likely cause a psychological meltdown dissolving all current thoughts, as well as any attraction towards a member of the feminine species which has no relation towards you.

Thus concluding...having your mind turn morbid and/or just plain bizzare and creepy, would chase away any normal thoughts.

I have no idea what you are saying but it sounds to me like you're attracted to your mother/telling us to be attracted to our mothers.

I'm abstaining from eating fast food more than once a week

I've been abstaining from Flash for a long time. Now I'm not, but I'm still looking forward to getting the tablet pen. I suck at mouse drawing

Americans are not allowed to refer to fries as chips. 5 points from gryffindor.

Also, I have a pen tablet I can sell you for dirt cheap if you want.

Also, dont ever abstain from animation, or else you'll end up spending like 6 years "Practicing", only to realize that you are really good, but never have finished anything.

It sucks.

I find abstinence ha-

Sometimes I'm on the internet too much and get really upset when I discover that I havn't gotten anything done. It's hard to stay away sometimes when I'm actually working.

OH MAN Bwave, you kust pwned that guy big time, I mean Harry Potter reference, what on earth tops that?

And just because someone says fries as chips, doesn't mean they have to change every person's quote to their british style, I am proud to post american, even though we did kind of change the name of mcdonald's french fries to...freedom fries

But c'mon freedom fries? What's next Morgan Freeman fries?

But yeah, tried to spread it around, they failed miserably, it's because the french wouldn't join in the war, is why they changed it.

They only changed it in the white house menu or any DC official buildings. So congressmen could only order Freedom fries.

Now this thread is in need of a serious Toastpaint.

Freedom toastpaint!

And even though people may say I'm missing out on a lot I abstain past, present, and future from not only smoking, but drinking as well.

He probably meant just, not kust, as the j and k keys are right next to each other. Hope that clears up some confusion.

I'm in abstinence from secks right now so as to avoid AIDS and death.

However I most probably wouldn't be able to get it if I wasn't abstaining.

Although, you can't really tell if I've taken a drink over the internet. :p

Buhubs, you're not alone. I'm one of the few 21-year-olds around who has never touched alcohol and never plans to. Quite frankly I'm proud of that, not afraid to admit it. Following the crowd is for wusses, but doing what's right, especially when it's against the crowd, is for the brave of heart. (and the brave of butt.)
So anyway I'm of legal age but choose to abstain from alcohol. I have several reasons for doing so:
1. the psychological effect, why would I want to lose my mind and do stuff I don't think through? (am a big stickler for thinking things through before doing/saying them)
2. potential for addiction. Maybe one drink won't do it, but if on a raw chance I decided to take two or three (and knowing genetics, that'd be more than enough) it might slowly build up.
3. money. Why the hell would I pay money to do something that does me only harm?? Me, of all people, the one who will fight anyone who goes for the same coin on the sidewalk? And if you get addicted, goodbye to your money supply, and life.
4. other physiological effects, such as liver damage with too much, among other stuff I don't remember

Also have to abstain from workouts involving my back, since it's recovering from a series of nasty injures that ruined my summer. This one's a lot tougher since I like- and need to- work out.

Actually, there are recent studies that indicate that wine in small quantities is actually good for your heart.

Hehe, I am one of the few and the proud of those who are pretty much hosed if they try anything. As an asthmatic, smoking or being near it is a no-go, regardless. As someone with severe food allergies, I can't afford to lose any personal judgement that naturally gets lost with alchool. It's not much of a stretch of the imagination that if I were to have even one or two drinks that I'd not think as hard about checking what I'm eating, and then no more Cap'n.

So, there's not much of an incentive for me in either of those fields. Oh well, I suppose I shall have to miss out on all that lung cancer and liver disease :o

Oh, yeah, totally. But I think I was saying (I can't really remember) that some people buy a lot of games before they finish ones they have. I mean, if it's not a game you've been waiting for FOREVER, it can wait, can't it?

I'm trying to avoid buying things (Or rather, thing... namely Metal Gear Solid 3...) until NebrasKon. I have to keep reminding myself that the dealer hall has items that are difficult to obtain elsewhere, such as $10 anime and game soundtracks. In particular, I've been drooling over the Saiyuki vocal album with "GAME", "Bad Friends", and "Blow Winds".
