Well, In sixth grade I was a guard and one of Thenardier's partners in crime in Les Mis.
In seventh grade, I was Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof.
And in eighth grade I was Gaston in Beauty and the Beast.

I'm the King in my choir's Madrigal Dinner, this year, and I might be doing Hello Dolly at the end of this year.

I'm one of Thenardier's partners too! We open on the 31st, and we have never done a complete run-through

Let's see, I've been Astarte in May the Farce Be With You in 7th grade
Some old lady in a play my friend wrote for my class to preform in 8th grade
A townsperson in Inherit the Wind in 9th grade
Did some tech for Fiddler on the Roof in 9th grade.
Mary in Pride and Prejudice this year.

I love Theatre :D

Last year I was a teen in Bye Bye Birdie. Other than that, I have been in a few church dramas and the camp drama team as the bad girl. Kind of ironic there.

Too many to list them all. Highlights include:

Susan Hollander - Don't Drink the Water (9th grade)

Gina Willis - Bridal Terrorism (10th grade?)

Emmerella - Emmerella (community theatre)

Egyptian Princess in a crazy goth re-telling of the story of Moses in college (I may be going to hell for that)

Aladdin's mother - Aladdin (community theatre) - this one comes complete with a story, but the jist is I learned the part in 3 days and my first rehearsal was the dress rehearsal - talk about nervous!

And now I'm going to be in a play in Wisconsin despite the fact that I'm living in Iowa. I'll be at a whole 3 rehearsals before the dress rehearsal this time though. :-) I also get to do a scene from Emmerrella, play myself, and take on a different part for a short scene as well as being part of the chorus for some choreographed numbers. Should be exciting.

I played Pandora and was the stage manager in a sixth grade play about Greek mythology. I also had one line in an elementary school play: "What about it?"

In middle school, I had a non-speaking part in a (very forgettable) musical. It was called "The Up-Side of Down". There was a bully who was picking on kids, there was a bit with an exercise/gym class (I was one of the extras in that scene), and somehow or other the bully turned his life around by the end of it all.

My first speaking line was as "Guy #2" in a church musical called The Big Picture. (It featured the music of Michael W. Smith and was pretty cool.)

In high school, I did a few "pantomime" things at church as well (we act without speaking while a song plays in the background). I don't remember all of them, but some of them included performing to DC Talk's "The Hardway", Michael W. Smith's "Give it Away", and even a version of the Prodigal Son story accompanied by the Eagles' "Desperado". (I was the father in that one.)

Also, the last couple of years, I've been involved with our church's Christmas drama ("This Man Called Jesus". It's well-known locally.) I was a shepherd the first couple of years. This past year, I was a crowd member and a (behind-the-scenes) soloist during the Lord's Supper scene.

I've actually been in several shows in the past few years. In the beginning of April, I'm going to be the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz.

In 4th grade I was the lead character in this play that was like a variation of rudolf the red nose reindeer, I was this moose with glowing antlers. In 5th grade I was rumplestiltzkin in a play that was a mash-up of fairy tales, also the lead role.

You gotta admit, that's pretty cute.

I remember back in the fourth grade when we had a Christmas concert and I had to sing dressed as a nun. I have it on video. Soooo embarrassing.

Hello Dolly is closer to being over. We open the 20th, and run through the 22nd. Then we have a few more shows from the 27th until the 29th. There are seven shows in all. I can't wait for it all to be over. I don't like many in the cast, and, the play is eating away my free time.

I'm excited for April for loads of reasons: No more Hello Dolly, baseball starts again, DISNEYWORLD.

Yeah, I'm just an ensemble part. Which means I have to dance a little. By no means am I a good dancer...but I can dance without stepping on my partner's feet. Same can't be said for her. She's probably about 300-350 lbs, and she can't dance. Everytime we dance, she steps on my feet at least two or three times. It got to the point where my sock would have blood stains in them within an hour of me putting them on, even before dancing with her at all. So my toe began to look pretty gnarly, so my mom and I went to the doctor, and I found out that it was/is infected. I have an ingrown toenail on both sides. I haven't been dancing for a week, and I have to have the very minor surgical operation on it sometime this week.

Oh boy, oh boy.
Plus, something crawled up our director's anus and died, apparently, because she's always pretty angry.

Aside from crappy school projects, nope. But I played "Nameless Kid 3" in a musical this one time!

Meh. Play got casted. I'm the understudy. :-| Now I have to memorize the lines, with the probability that I won't have to use them...

Ah well. I got a sorta big part, and it was my second choice, so I guess I'm happy.

I did the school musical in Jr High and High School! It was not anything like disney's high school musical though. We were mostly all friends and hung out and then went home and did homework and stuff.

I played Chino in West Side Story. I was totally into the guy who played Officer Krupke, of course. This dude was only a Junior in high school, and he already had a full beard, so yeah. It's funny though because later on in life, I met this OTHER guy who played Krupke in his own high school's version of WSS, and we became best friends. We still are. He just got his appendix removed yesterday. Good times.
