Mom: Eh, she's OK. I hate her music taste though, new wave gets old after a while.

Dad: Ocassionally gets butthurt over stupid stuff, but overall funny guy. He got me into politics and movies and such. Favorite music genre: 60's British Invasion. Interested in American war history.

Erik, age 12: retard

Kirk, age 11: retard

Joe, age 5: annoying

My dad seems to have this idea that my mum hates him and wants him out of our lives.
When it's actually the complete opposite situation. She wants him around us kids all the time. She's totally on his side, and he acts like she's the worst thing that ever happened to him.
Lord, my mum is a good person. And she never gets even a thank you from anyone. Including us kids, usually...

Father, Tom, 48. Very funny, basically same taste of music as me, powerful speaker, and overall a rational and intelligent person. A code checker for programs in Fifth Third Bank.

Mother, Jeanette, 47. She gets on my nerves sometimes and uses the "WELL I'M THE MOM SO I'M RIGHT" argument way too much. She's alright, though, and is generally agreeable attitude-wise, but she will get butthurt about random stuff.

Brother, Christopher a.k.a. "C-bo" "M.C.", 16. He has the same outlook on most stuff as me, but also gets emotional about a bunch of random crap and gets on my case a lot. Quiet around people and never wants to express his opinion about anything unless he feels very strongly about it. Socially, a loser and has never had a girlfriend.

Me, 13.

Oh gee.
Well, my dad (54) is the oldest of three boys, and he grew up somewhere near Upland, California. After working as a Vice-President for a shipbuilding company for 35 years, he moved on to teaching math this year. He's tightly-wound, and cheap.
My mom (54) is the fourth of five kids. All four of her siblings are boys, and sometimes even she forgets who is who. She grew up in West Virginia before moving to Arizona with her family. She's been working as a music teacher at a private Christian school for three years now. She's funny, but sometimes to funny. She's also easy to manipulate.
My older brother (25) is probably the person I respect the most in my family. He lives in the area, but it seems like he still lives in our house, just because he's over here all the time. He graduated from Pepperdine in 2004. He has been with his girlfriend, Joy (25) since they were Juniors in high school. He shares a lot of the same interests as me, including baseball and music, and he even plays video game with me.
My older sister (23) seems to never be home. She's home right now, because she's off of school for Thanksgiving. She graduated from high school in 2002, and she's been all over the place since then. She went to Rice for college, and graduated in 2006. She's really smart, and got accepted in Yale's Biochemistry graduate program. She deferred for a year to study abroad in Germany, since she double-majored German/Biochemistry in college. She's currently at Yale. She's nice, sometimes she tries way to hard to be funny, and that can be annoying.

I'll add more people later, when I'm not about to go to dinner.

Surprised I haven't done this yet.

Immediate family:

Dad: Don, he's nice and really smart (I get my math and science brain from him). He's been a great parent, but he has a pretty short fuse. Or rather, he has a long fuse that doesn't replenish like most peoples'. Every few months he'll have these outbursts that used to scare me, and now just tick me off. But he's usually a good guy.
Mom: Jill, also smart, though not in the mathematical way my dad is. She's really nice and has also been a great parent to me and my sisters. There's really not much more to say about her.
Corie, 20 years old, she's in college (studying political science) so she's moved out of the house, but she lives only a half hour or so away so she comes by often. She's also smart and nice, we always get along (we fought sometimes when we were younger, but still not too much).
Jamie, 19 years old (just this month), she's a freshman in college now so she's moved out too, but she lives in Hawaii now so we don't see her often. She has a minor mental disability of some sort, and that's made her very immature socially, so she can be difficult to talk with sometimes. She's not as smart as Corie due to her disability, but she's definitely not dumb either.

I was gonna add my intermediate family (is that the term? Sounds right) but it'd probably be too long. Maybe I'll add them later.

Mom: Audrey Ella Nickel, age 46. Very funny, and big into Irish music and culture. She's kind of the head of the house, and in charge of finances and boring crap like that. She doesn't have a paying job but she volunteers for various groups she's in and writes newsletters and stuff. I get my love of trivia and language from her. I get my eyes (blue, almond-shaped, and nearsighted) and skin tone from her, but I look more like my dad. I have yet to inherit her breasts.

Dad: John Anthony "Tony" Nickel, age 50. Hilarious. He likes a lot of the same things as me, and when we're in his car we often listen to TMBG and sing along. When he gets angry he's scary. He doesn't get abusive or anything, though. He's a computer programmer, and he rides a motorcycle. He helps me with math and science sometimes. I look a lot like him--skinny, with dark, curly hair.

My parents are still together, and have been for upwards of 20 years.

Pets: A male poodle named Wiley and a male cat named Jonah.

Siblings: Nonexistant.

They seemed really nice to me. I mean, they gave me not one but TWO ice cream sandwiches and a two liter Pepsi. And that was after refusing a bunch of other stuff.
That's because you caught them on a good day. Try coming when they are having a bad day.

Folks are divorced. I live with my freakin' tall Dad during the week and see my mom on weekends and stuff.

Twin brother's in the Navy, on his way to flight school in Pensacola right now.
