Don Imus is a good guy, its not like what he said was racist. Everyone who assumed that he was only talking about the black chicks in that basketball team, they're racist.

Unless they're all black, then it doesn't really matter.

Wow, this fits exactly with my list of irrational hatreds (most of which are borne from merely the item's popularity).

Examples include:
iPods
iPhones
iMacs
iTunes
anything else with a lowercase I followed by a capital letter
MP3 players
World of Warcraft
The Simpsons
Firefox
Xbox and Xbox 360
PSP

And so on.

A lot of that has to just be denial, because almost everything you listed there is awesome, especially the iPods.

I agree about any other Apple product and the PSP, though. Overrated.

Here's mine: The words "chill" and "wicked" used as synonyms for "good" or "cool." From now on, that's not allowed.

also myspace

Facebook.

People who knock Myspace.

I mean, i don't give a crap, all of my IRL friends are on myspace, and I don't want to have to whore myself out to mindless ugly nerds again just to get fake friends on a stupid blog thing. And I don't give a crap if their code is bad; last time i checked, websites were about content, not flashy showy gifs and jpegs.

Also, RAZRs.

I hate people who hate stuff just because everyone else likes it. because it seems like they're supposed to, because it's a similar situation to some other thing they hate with good reason.

Because they don't want to lose their reputation of seeming above everyone else, like they're more knowing and mature.

AAAUUGH!

And that anime thing, how can you hate all anime? It's really varied. I mean, I hate some shows, and love others.

Stuff is stupid.

Those don't exist. Those never have existed. They just say they hate things because others like it.

-Stereotypes. People should not be categorized beyond "there are two types of people in this world: people who love Grease 2 and people who dislike Grease 2."
-Harry Potter. I've gotten "you look like harry potter" ever since the first film. Oh, and I tried to conform but the books bored me to tears back in like third grade.
-Music. Rarely have I enjoyed anyone elses suggestions, and I'm usually not a fan of what everyone else likes.
-Comedy Central. XD It's got some ok stuff and occasionally good stuff, but it's like the only channel some people watch.

Not if you want to hide the flavor of poorly cooked fries with too much potato and from the freezer aisle.

Seriously, I don't know why I've tolerated my mom's cooking for so long.

Oh, now this is a list that can never be completed.
Sure as heck gonna start it though!

Most slang. Particularly internet slang. All you people saying "fail", "**** that noise", "weak" (that one makes me seethe) etc. automatically lose 20 damik points regardless of what it is you're actually saying. In any case, why do people use current slang? Just another way to be like everybody else, hooray.

Ketchup I agree with. I don't have anything particularly against the flavor, it's just... I dunno, when you go to a pub or something (okay, whatever, a restaurant; hey, even a McDonalds) and they have those ketchup... receptacles with the crusty red dribble down them all around where your ketchup is supposed to come out, how does that catch your appetite?!

Bananas also. Most popular fruit in the world and they make my stomach turn.

iPods would have been on this list this time a couple years ago, but they've come a long way. The main thing I object to is when people (usually Apple ads, but more annoying when it's just regular people) refer to their iPod like a person. Instructions like "Plug iPod into your computer." No way, that should be "Plug your iPod into your computer." So irritating. Oh, and also...

iTunes. How I hate iTunes. Clunky as hell, still seems to think an 8,000 item long list is an efficient way of displaying your library, and I have a personal grudge after it completely exploded my music folder one time. I own a lot of compilations, which are a concept Apple seemingly haven't quite got their heads around yet, which resulted in my music folder suddenly having about a jillion new subfolders for artists I have one song by. Agh.

Edit by Jesty: Please watch your language.

Up here in Mass, we use the word "wicked" to mean very or extreme. Like "that was wicked hard" = "that was very hard".

Wicked I can handle. That's just cheesy and outdated enough to get the pass.

Been there, man. Been there.

Also damik, this-guy didn't have to look it up because for a while whenever people swore in a post, the modmins would be all "Cut that out! Remember Rule Six!" Then for a while it became a popular little fad/meme/trend/whatever to replace swears with the phrase "Rule 6" sarcastically.

I'm sure you don't give a crap, though.

Pokemon (games): They really have jumped the shark this time, even Dragon Quest have found ways to be innovative and it focuses on old-time gaming.
Jerry Seinfeld: He's not funny, the only reason he was popular because Larry David co-created a show with him.
