I know, I know, it's like 2390587248957 members by now.

But all the Cool People On The Internet™ seem to hate it.

It's like, why? Sure, it's full of idiots because any old idiot can come along and make a page, but that doesn't mean that it in itself is an idiotic thing.

"Itself" is only itself because of the users, and all the users are camwhores, trendslaves, or any other internet trash. The only part of MySpace that is original content is the structure of the website, which sucks. I used MySpace for a while, and encountered the error page more than I encountered actual parts of the website. Don't tell me "Well, it must just be a problem on your end" or whatever, because it's not. It's the website's problem.

And it's useless. I could say the same for deviantART, but it allows me to put my art there, and gives everyone an easy way to express their thoughts about anything I draw. MySpace is just useless. Phone. IM. Come on.

I'm not so sure about that. I've gotten plenty p.o.'d at MySpace's coding, but all it's trying to be is a simple website where people can make a simple little page about themselves and show who they're friends with. I've never used Facebook, so I can't tell you if it's better or not, but I wouldn't say MySpace is useless. It offers outsiders a look at who you are.

And the users don't make the site. In the end, all it is is a faculty for people to make their own little profile, whether those people are stupid or awesome.

I have both and MySpace is FAR SUPERIOR. Facebook has so many useless applications you can add to your profile and make it uglier and uglier and agg. That's like the only way you can customize how your facebook looks and I do not approve. MySpace is awesome 'cause you can muck around with layouts and make it tasty. :]
ALSO Myrrh has been added on MySpace by Chex.

ughhh. Facebook's apps are pretty fail, but Myspace profiles can be worse at times. Most of the time when looking at profiles it seems like my firefox is gonna don' splode from all the crap on there. Whatever. You girls just like myspace because it's typical for your age...

Facebook is pretty much fail. You can't actually DO anything with it. MySpace, on the other hand, can actually be pretty fun, though there ARE tons of MASSIVELY overdone profiles out there.

that's funny, ha ha haa.

The users make the site because there is no content produced by the acutal website. And since about ninety five percent of the users are mental retards...well, you figure it out.

It's glitchy. You'll get tons of messages from people WANTNIG TO AD U. People make a GAME out of how many friends they can get. It's a sign of the social apocalypse, where there is no originality and everyone is doing something because everyone else is doing it. If the people who run it actually knew how to code, then I wouldn't have half the problem I actually do with the website.

EDIT: And Facebook is better because it's not badly made, and it doesn't have a million useless things. It's less annoying and is less frequently used by morons.

I still wouldn't say that the users make the site. You can't judge it by the number of retards that use it. You have to judge it by the services it offers and whether they're appealing to you. You may have no use for it, but that doesn't mean others don't.

Well, I'm trying not to be nasty, and I just hope you don't take me disliking a horrible website as a personal insult, because that's not it at all. And I thought we were friends too.

The thing is, MySpace has no features. It's basically a "okay, here's a page. do what you will" type of thing, which means the users create all content featured on the site.

You don't seem to be aware of his completely jerky attitude toward Mandy. I certainly didn't think any of the things he said about her and were funny. He was a very cruel and hurtful person when he didn't get his way.
