Don't bring private conversations into this, Thomas, and don't drag things on when i'm not even here.

I posted nothing in this thread that hadn't already been spoken about in this thread. Everything I had to say came right out of this thread right here, not from our private conversation. And since others were involved in the conversation going on, I don't see why I needed you logged on in order to speak my own mind on the topic.

Quote:
I still like him. not what he's done. and i didn't say you have to. you're the "everyone that hates him" and i'm the "only one who likes him" in this thread and we'll just leave it at that.

If you note what I said earlier, Carrie, what I don't appreciate is the way you have attempted to justify his behavior with a lame "But he did it for the lulz" excuse. What he did was wrong - you can't reasonably deny it. And as I already pointed out to Rusty, it's not that it is unforgivable, but rather I'd have much more respect for what you say if you simply called a spade a spade instead of trying to whitewash it. Like I said, if someone deleted things you liked from your own computer, or stole something out of your car, or poured permanent ink all over one of your favorite outfits "for the luls", how do you think you'd respond to it?

But as I also pointed out, the Purge is not his only offense: what about the verbal abuse he gave Mandy?

For my part, I do hope he grows out of these behaviors, and soon. Not just for the sake of people in contact with him, but for his own sake too. But if you're trying to justify and defend his wrong actions (and it certainly appeared that you were doing just that), what kind of incentive is that for him to change?

You said, "you're the everyone who hates him". Maybe I didn't understand you correctly, but it comes across to me as if you're trying to say that it's not his actions I despise, but him as a person. I wanted to make it clear that it is in fact his actions that I am referring to. Not just the purge, but the way I've seen him treat people.

You also said in your post that you do not like what he's done. But earlier, you seemed to indicate that you actually liked what he had done. That didn't make sense to me.

I was a bit confused by what you meant by these things, so I responded to your post.

But as for "starting arguments", you might want to note that I was not the only person who took exception to what you said earlier.

Ladies, please, leave your drama llamas at the barn.

Anyways, I, for one, love diet sodas.

Hmm, I would agree witcha, but actually I think it's probably only diet Coke that's superior to the original. Diet Lemonade, for example, tastes like chemical **s.

Sushi.
Albeit, I do know a few people who like the stuff, the majority of people cringe at the idea of raw fish.

I never understood that. I'm vegetarian, but what's so paricularly unpleasant about raw fish? Raw beef or something I can understand being really gross, but fish is kindof similar texture and stuff whether you cook it or not...

Sushi isn't raw fish; anything wrapped in rice and nori can be sushi. Sashimi, though, is raw fish.[/goodeats]

Leave.

Or, be yourself. That's what most of us do.

Anyway, to the irony of above post, I have the ability to like video games that most people seem to hate. For instance, I enjoy SimEarth, but everyone finds it a waste of time.

However, I do dislike Project Zoo. I mean, I can see how they were going, but replaying the levels trying to get everything is a pain in the you-know-what. I only want to go back to those levels so I can collect anything else I couldn't. Instead, the game acts as if I'm starting the level for the first time. Also, poor collision control.

But I digress. In short, as long as the problems in the game don't become blatantly obvious and annoying, I may like that game.

California rolls. Everyone seems to gag when they look at them, but I think they're delicious.

I've never seen or touched lima beans in my life before. I couldn't tell you my opinion on them.

Rockets only on Chiron in Halo the first.

I think it's hysterical to watch, everyone else on the hall hates me for picking it when no one else can decide what to play. Well, they shouldn't say "somebody pick anything" if they really don't mean that ;)

Also, Gee Dubya.

DragonForce. Yes, I know that they have the most formulated songs ever, but I can't help it that I love the guitar and am such a huge nerd that I even like the lyrics. Besides, I listen to enough music to balance it out.

No, sushi is raw fish on top of rice.
Sashimi is just the raw fish.
Maki is anything wrapped in rice and seaweed.
At least according to my local sushi restaurant. :p
Bonus points for liking Good Eats, though.

I like Soft Drink mixed with Milk, I'm guessing most people wouldn't.
