EDIT: That is the Chinese symbol for "fail," BTW.

Don't blame me. It shows up as a question mark for me. Blame the fonts.

Heyo I'm back all!

So, funny thing happened on the way down. My flights to Denver were from DC to Detroit to Denver. First flight goes by without much issue. Second flight starts off pretty smoothly. About 45 minutes into our three hour flight, everyone's ears starts popping like mad. The pilot gets on the intercom and announces that the plane's pressurization system is bloken, so we're going to have to turn around and go back. This is at like 8:15pm. We land at 9ish, and they kick us off the plane and make us wait at another gate for another plane. They delay us two, three times until at 9:45 they tell us that the flight is delayed until 7am the next day, but that some (unhelpful, non english speaking) people will help us book hotels and give us hotel vouchers, travel vouchers, and meal vouchers to pay for it all. We wait in line to upwads of two hours while me and my two friends do laps on the moving sidewalk one at a time. Also, while this is happening I'm on the phone with my folks who are booking hotels for us before the rest of the people in line snap them up. We get to the front of the line, tell them we have rooms, get our vouchers (it's 11:30 pm) and get to the hotel to pay. Turns out, none of the vouchers work, and they refuse to do anything. Also, the airport's closed, so we can't get back in to complain. So we have to pay for our (expensive) hotel room that we spend five hours in and then leave. So with this and a load of snotty flight attendants, I'm not going to be using Northwest ever much again.

However, Colorado is amazing, and skiing is a kick and a half. I only fell down seven or eight times! ^^

I wouldn't stop with this. Get in contact with your airline. Immediately.
Be very calm and patient (they'll try to wear you down) and don't use big words (or foul language)... If you can't get what you want, try talking to a supervisor. If they can't help, try talking to their supervisor.
Just grit your teeth and prepare for a long, boring battle.

If that doesn't work, you might try contacting Christopher Elliott over at National Geographic (celliott@ngs.org). He does a "travel troubleshooter" column on CNN.com.

Ima be disappearing again for a couple of weeks. I have about 45 pages of various essays to write in three weeks' time, and two tests to study for. Wish me luck.

...I haven't been posting. Because I've been, like, busy for once. I lurk every once in a while though..

I'm actually swamped with schoolwork, more than usual anyway, now that I'm in senior.

So yeah.

Um... Bye?

So, I got grounded for getting "terrible" grades a while back, and my parents said I'd be completely ungrounded at the end of the quarter. So guess what? I get 30 minutes of computer time a day now. Now I have to wait for progress reports to come out; if I get good grades, my parents say they might extend my time, just like they said I'd have 24/7 access by now.

Anyway, half an hour isn't a lot, so I probably won't bother coming here until I get more time.
Also, I used to be EoJ. Just sayin'.

I'm a gecko, not a tiger!

Unless I'm supposed to be the one in the hat, which means...

You're one of us now?

I couldn't find a gecko hug. And besides, it looks like that tiger will maul that dude any second now.

Good Luck! I know how writing a ton of essays is! Right now, I have to write like 12 pages of essays and read three books. Not as much as you, but mine has to be finished this week. I've finished two pages and read two and a half books.

Down to 35, woot. I might even get finished a few days early if I keep this up.

Oh wow, totally forgot about this. But uh... yeah... I was in Portland, Oregon from last Thursday night right through to last Sunday night. My dance crew and I, along with several other dance crews from the Vancouver, Canada area, were invited to participate in the IDC dance competition that took place throughout Friday and Saturday. So sorry if it seemed like I just kind of disappeared last weekend, I completely forgot to give you guys the 411 here. Anyways, I'm back now and all is well.

Portland was mass fun by the way. The hotel we stayed in basically hates us now, but other than that the times were hot. No tax in Portland is soooo dope, especially for shopping. I got three dope tees, a new hoodie, new shorts and some Vans Iron Maiden high-tops, all without all that tax nonsense! We killed it at the competition too. I scored a "High Gold" with my break duo and a "Platinum" (the highest ranking in scoring) with Elktrik. Elktrik also made it into the Entertainment Challenge to perform again for the audience's enjoyment. In the end Elktrik ended up placing as the 1st runner-up for the large group category. So yeah we got 2nd... but that's 2nd out of every single large group that performed throughout the course of the two days, so we're pretty proud.

Here's a picture of all the Canadian crews that assembled for IDC. I'm in dere somewheres...

Image

Not to brag or anything but uh... the Canadian crews basically owned. :p XSS, a renowned Canadian crew residing from the Surrey area placed 1st overall. In other words, they got the highest score out of every dancer/group of dancers that performed for the IDC judges and they won the competition.

Anywho, good to be back guys.
