You and BTG can back the hell off already. We all have out interests, Arena Football is one of mine. You don't like it, fine, but keep it to your funking self!

Happened to me once. Wasn't nearly as painful as that time that picture fell on my head and the frame broke, but that's beside the point here...

A lamp fell on your head?

I'm feeling angry. I was gonna go hang out with a friend tomorrow that just came back from vacation, but suddenly I have to help my sister move! X-( It's still undecided what will happen, but chances are I can't hang out with my friend.

Intelligent. You were on a roll with making good posts, too.

Nice smiley post and deletion. Can we throw a flag for spamming here, please?

Yup, when I was a toddler. Probably explains a lot.

I have some sort of dent that you can feel when running your fingers over my head, so I'll now assume that a lamp also fell on me.

Oh, no, mine wasn't painful or anything, it fell so that my head went right into the lampshade, and I caught it before I hit the lightblub or anything. it was more of a topple than a fall, but still, it was quite an odd experience. Thought I ought to share it with you guys.

I am surprised, though, that lamps have fallen on so many other people (well, two. Two and a half if we count Disk)

Theres one thing that is really, really, really hard for me.

With the DFH software, I can create really awesome drum tracks. But instead of thinking in the sense of all instruments, I get into the one instrument I'm working with, and create something way out of my skill on whatever other instrument thats left to record. So while I have a really amazing and really awesome drum track, I can't come up with anything just as awesome and amazing for the guitar track.

And when I do come up with something, its hard to sync everything up, and getting the tone and sound of the guitar perfect. Right now, I'm still trying to figure out how to get as great of a sound as any average metal band out there, but so far, I can't.

If I make a Guitar track first, I have to make a click track first. Then once I have the whole guitar track down, I have to either come up with a crappy drum track using that Handpro thing, or spend hours matching drum samples with the DFH to the guitar track. And I can't have a straight forward Double-Bass riff throughout the whole song, It has to go DB+Snare, DB+Snare+Crash, DB+S+China, Then go into a DB+Snare+Every frickin' cymbal, and then into a moderate chug of Bass, snare, and closed/open Hi Hats all the way through, then back to the whole DB crap.
And when I have the drum track down, and a good Idea of what I want for guitar, I press record for the guitar, and it doesn't sound right because I still can't get the perfect metal sound I want. What I get, though, sounds like an extremley turned up distortion pedal with alot of reverb, and this horrible white noise in the background. I do everything to try and remedy it; Compression pedal, SmartGate, turning the Distortion/Gain down, hum reducer, yet all I get is the same damn thing: A horrible tone, a horrible sound, a bunch of CRAP!

So I record anyway, and it still sounds like crap.

Then I get ticked off, hit save, lay down on the bed for a while and think to myself "Who the Funk cares?"

And then i get on the internet, and look into buying a Pod XT3. I see videos, and I think "Awesome, now THATS the tone I want!" but I know, that despite whatever I do, I will not get that tone because my idea of tone is Distortion all the way up, Bass all the way down, treble at 10, and Volume at 10.

Waking up this morning felt like waking up from a drug induced stupor. I feel like I've finally settled in here and am itching to stop holing up in this tiny room and get on with life and stuff.

Finished transferring stuff over to my new (2 years old as opposed to 4 years old) laptop, made up an exercise plan, now gonna do most of that then scout out some running areas around here. After that prolly play some rock band downstairs until later when we're gonna go hang out at some friends' apartment and do nerdy things.

Oh yeah doing stuff that isn't all in one 5 foot radius!

It sounds too much like slayer with the processor I'm using, and I don't want to sound all high and White-Noised, I want a chug chug chugging sound.

I should really get to bed, since I have to go to get my school picture taken (lolwut indeed). But I've decided to take this as an opportunity to go mess around town. I just need a map of town and the places I'll be going.

Hey, it'll get me out of the house.

Too much bass always sounds terrible but for a nice scooped sound, you need to have a little bass.

EDIT:
Try bass at 4, treble at 7, and mid at 0 or 1.
