Well, I can understand them trying to keep a level of professionalism.

I'm really not in the mood to go to this girl's birthday, but I promised her I'd go... I'm stressed.

My policy is to not make promises to anyone regarding anything. The way I see it, a promise not given is by far less hurtful and insulting than a promise not kept.

I am in a very stressed mood. There are visitors in my house, incessantly demanding to see me practise violin (when I obviously do not want them to) and amusing themselves by droning on the piano. There are also several teens obnoxiously playing billiards.

If I was dead and this is heaven, I would automatically call a taxi to take me to Hades.

I feel ok. I just got some depth keys in the mail, which I will be using to make some new bump keys.

Also, I will be picking the lock on the fire house's sign tonight, opening it, and making it say "AAARRRGGGBBLLBBLLBLBLBL!" (Only have 1 exclamation point).

I might do it at the high school and mcdonalds as well, but I only have so many A's, B's, R's, G's, and L's.

Yeah, but I think it's dumb that they had planned to have a 'meet n' greet', but then Discovery got in the way and said that if they did that, it would turn into a Media Event, and they would have to send in special people for it.

Both good and bad. Bad, because I was trying to make this Anime Cosplay Accessory-type thing earlier (I know, I know, LOL WEEABOO.) and I didn't do very good... But, I feel good because I found a better Tutorial a few Minutes ago. ^^

I feel ok. I just got some depth keys in the mail, which I will be using to make some new bump keys. Also, I will be picking the lock on the fire house's sign tonight, opening it, and making it say "AAARRRGGGBBLLBBLLBLBLBL!" (Only have 1 exclamation point). I might do it at the high school and mcdonalds as well, but I only have so many A's, B's, R's, G's, and L's. There is some idiot at work I'd like to destroy. He was being a jerk at work today, and some guy said "You'd better watch it, brian (Me) could probably knock you out." The kids replied "No way! He's never been in a fight before!" (He doesnt know me well.) When I told him I'd gladly fight him (I knew he'd decline like a wimp), he made up some story about broken ribs. I told him that we could wait a few weeks, and he pulled the old "No, I dont want to hurt you" bull. He is basically the laughingstock of our workplace right now. Whenever he says something like "I have good news", someone immediately responds "Your ribs have healed? Great! Now brian can break them again."

Yeah, I agree with Sree. Equality doesn't always mean good. You and A can be happy while M isn't, or you can all be equally unhappy. There's no way here that you can make M happy, so why limit yourself because of it? It's great that you care about your friend, but I think you need to prioritize yourself above him in this case.

And keep in mind, Hannah, he is only venting his own frustration, his own struggles. He seems to realize, on an intellectual level anyway, that it's best not to come between you and Alex. But, like all of us, he can't help the way he feels inside. And if he can't control his feelings, you probably shouldn't presume that you can. And, as someone else said, the only way it'll ever make a difference is if A is at all attracted to him.
