I walked for three hours in the snow. Let a girl borrow my fedora so the sleet wouldn't get in her eyes, and by the time we got back it was frozen solid. It was awesome.

Also, I'm exhausted.

We've already played 4 gigs and made 3 CD's that sold over 400 copies each these past 2 months.

So, what's the band's name?

The Raging Hormones.

We're a small town band that is unsigned, and our CD's have only been sold to people from the ages of 10-18 from our town, and our MySpace page is out of date with only an old, crappy video on it from the days of our horrendous and now former vocalist. So Google us if you like, I guarantee you won't find anything.

You sold 400 copies to just people in your town?

Also, I want to hear this music, make a MySpace or something.

We did. We're making a good video in a couple weeks when we hire a new freaking drummer.

Like I already said, our only video is an old one with old members and our now former singer with no talent.

If you think the music is good, that's great. Personally, though, I think this video is dated and displays less talent than we currently have. The singing is terrible and the video is terrible. In fact, just bar the video and listen to the "music"

Yeah, that's... Not my type of music.
The lead singer SORT OF sounds like the singer in Chiodos. Sort of. But then again, I can't really hear it.

It sounds OK, I guess. But the singer is just the worst.

I don't mean to be a jerk here, but to me, that just sounded like random series of notes on the guitar played to drum. With yelling.

It's called letting loose and having fun. Try it sometime, you might enjoy it.

Oh yes. And not a poser fedora. Mine is a lite felt fedora. It really is awesome.

And now I feel really tired. Bedtime anyone? Freakin' lack of sleep.

OH SHIVA, WHAT THE CRAP DID YOU FREAKIN RECORD ON? BABIES FIRST TAPE RECORDER?!?!?

Oh god, and you could totally hear the bass player! You're not supposed to hear them unless they are the only one playing, or unless you're Primus.

And your singers PA needs to be the loudest instrument on the track.

Oh god, suddenly I feel like hating everyone who records without using a DAW.

Nervous. Auditions for our school's production of All Shook Up are already this Thursday... I mean, I know I have a decent chance since we musical theatre students get to work on our sixteen measure pieces in class and I am taking vocal coaching, but still...

Actually, not everyweek. It just seems that way.

I'm okay, I suppose. I need to go to bed, but I don't really feel like it, and I have stuff I'm downloading then making into one large video.

Did you read that post or just go right to the link?

I said that is a 2-month old video with just old members who sucked. That's why it's just screaming. Our old vocalist was terrible, and our guitarist has gotten better since then and decided not to use the amp's overdrive and an overdrive pedal. Like I said 5 or 6 times, the video was crap and was our earlier days when we played at least 4 times worse than we do now. We're making new songs, getting a new drummer and singer, and buying new recording equipment and amps. Give me a break.

Also I forgot to mention that all the CD's were sold were sold after the vocalist was released and before the drummer quit like a pansie. Thus, they were all instrumental, and sounded good.

And it was recored on a Tascam DP-01 portastudio.

Actually, the guy in the gorilla suit did some questionable dance maneuvers...

Also, whoever thought of the theme for the dance (Snowfall at Midnight) is a stinkin genius, as we now have an inch and a half of snow on the ground *grin*

I'm feeling good this morning. With the exception of it being freaking cold out, it's pretty nice outside today.

We got our first snow yesterday. It was awsome.

It'll all be melted by tomorrow though.
