JohnTheTinyCowboy wrote: I had my last final exam today, in astronomy. For about three weeks now, I've been believing that the exam was to be from 11:00 to 1:30, so I showed up at the testing room at 10:45. Turns out the exam started at 9:00 and ended at 11:30. This left me with 45 minutes to complete the 120-question multiple choice exam. I was literally the last person taking it for a good 20 minutes. Me, alone, in a giant 400-seat auditorium, with my professor and about 9 TAs, scrambling to finish the exam.
Luckily, my astronomy tests are always really easy and I had no trouble finishing with time to spare, but it was still a humiliating experience. I was lucky that this happened for my best subject, because there's no way I would have been able to finish any of my other final exams in that amount of time. So I feel embarrassed, but relieved that I was able to finish the test, and most of all glad to be finished with the semester. Going home tomorrow, woot. If anything, your professors will think you were cocky. I used to have a chemistry prof that made fun of me for finishing 30 minutes before everyone else. |

Well, it was the easiest final I've ever taken, but I'm pretty sure I didn't seem TOO cocky. More like terrified. When he said I was late, visions of failing the course went through my brain, but when he said there was still 45 minutes left, I knew I'd be able to finish in time. I have GOT to make sure that doesn't ever happen again. |

I have GOT to make sure that doesn't ever happen again. Heh, speaking of being late (well, not really), I thought that one of my finals was at 12:00, and I was panicking because a group essay (ugh, I HATE group assignments) is due at the time of the test as well, and I hadn't recieved e-mails from my group members with their portions of the essay. Then I read my syllabus again and realized that I was looking at the 12:00 class' exam time, which was today. MY class, the 1:00, has the final on Wednesday. Go me. |

The thing is, astronomy is my favorite class, so I REALLY hope the professor doesn't only remember me as "the guy who was really late," instead of "that awesome brilliant guy." The professor's a cool guy, his job is to look for extrasolar planets. It also looks like my astronomy professor for next semester is going to be the guy who is literally in charge of the Spirit and Opportunity rovers on Mars. He decides where they go, what they take pictures of, cool stuff like that. I'm seriously considering switching majors. |

I'm feeling absolutely fantastic. Also, since there's a new governor's (he's a total hypocrite) inauguration tomorrow, I don't have to work. |

Feeling great. This week is gonna be a breeze, and when it's over I'll have 3 weeks off for Christmas. |

*shakes fist at Abu* Other than that, I'm feeling good. I'm having Christmas with my rich grandparents this weekend since they're gonna be gone for real Christmas so I'm more likely than not getting a 360 this weekend. |

I swear, man. That 3 week break is the only redeeming quality of this whole school district I'm in. Envy me. |

My district got rid of Mid-Winter Break! For no reason! And shortened/screwed up Winter Break! *envies Abu* |

No. I'm feeling crappy. Now I can't do that hilarious comic because I learned that the Indigo-Go's in Majora's Mask are second generation. So technically, I can't use this plot on this generation. Argh. |

You're in college, aren't you? If so, that would explain the 5 weeks off. Thus, I do not envy you a bit. |

I only get two weeks off. That seems to be the most common number of weeks off. |

Tired. Hot. Sweaty. Half-Done. One show of Madrigal Dinner is done. Tomorrow night is the last one. (I get two weeks for Xmas. But I also get the whole week for Thanksgiving, a week for Spring Break, and a random week off in February.) |

I'm cold. Maybe sitting in my room in my minimalist pj's with the windows open to 30 weather and the fan on wasn't such a great idea... |

Maybe sitting in my room in my minimalist pj's with the windows open to 30 weather and the fan on wasn't such a great idea... and probably the reason why m roommate hates me. |
