I'm sorry Chekt, I'll be praying for you guys :)

On my own front, the end of the semester is coming up, and things are very crazy. Scheduling =/= any amount of fun.

I feel great. It's awesome out today in horrid old Ithaca, so I'll be out enjoying the weather soon.

I'm very worried. It seems that my photography teacher was arrested today for fighting with the Dean of Discipline. I don't want him to get fired, as I enjoyed having him as an art teacher sophomore year. I mean, I seriously don't want to have a crappy photography teacher next year because the good one decided to go wrestling. Or worse, have Studio Photography cancelled and I have to take calculus or some math related bull-crap. Though that's unlikely.

Probably had something to do with the refusal to take down "inappropriate" art. Seriously DoD, who cares? They're serious social issues and you can't just pretend that they don't exist. Society isn't sunshine and rainbows, you know.

Yes, Day of Defeat is a very serious social issue.

Seriously though...yeah. I would take photography over calculus any day.

Being funny = Yes
Being serious = Dean of Discipline there, sonny.

Feeling procrastinational. I have to write an essay on Michael Herr's Dispatches, which is about the Vietnam War. But I don't want to do it at all. I have it all planned out and everything, and I'm already around halfway done with the thing, I just DON'T WANT TO FINISH IT.

Luckily, it's my only homework for the night, and Thursday nights I can stay up till three since I don't have class till 11:15 on Fridays, which is nice.

I also feel kinda guilty that I didn't go to the gym today. Since this semester started, I've only missed three days that weren't days when I was home for spring break or just some random weekend. Trying to get in a decent shape by the end of the year, doing ok so far, some noticeable changes, but nothing too exciting yet. When it gets exciting, I'll post pictures (ladies.) ;)

You met Randy Orton today?

I wish. I would let him give me a career-ending kick any day.

Your new found love for Randy Orton is mildly disturbing. Perhaps an image of JBL will amke it go away....

I'm feeling peeved. My roommate chews tobacco, and spilled his spit cup earlier. It spilled all over the floor, and onto my clothes. So for now, I'm wearing an old t-shirt and some rather tight track pants. Though the pants do make my butt look nice.

It's the Age of Orton, my friend. Accept it. Love it. Live it.

Relieved.
It started out with a 100 point math test, which I expected to do poorly on, but I actually passed. But... not by much, which sucks.
I also started writing Apocalypse Front Line today. My science teacher saw me writing it in class and asked me to give it to him. I begged of him not to read it, I find it to be embarassing. A few minutes later, he called me over and said "What exactly do you find embarassing about this? Are you embarassed about having great talent and being a great writer?"
I just looked at him and said "Yes."
So yeah, not a bad day.
But good golly, I hope the graduation stuff isn't cancelled.

Much like the Wood Age(?), The Orton Age will be succeeded by the Shad Age......that's right.

I feel GREAT now! I finished my depressing essay!

It's really nothing too stellar, but it'll do in a pinch.

Nah, it was about 'Nam. But I bet more than one kitten drowned in 'Nam, so I guess that was what it was about, come to think of it.

Well, my day was fine. I had a good day at an away regatta for crew, despite the fact we lost, ate a lot of food, all was good. Then I found out a paper I worked to death on, and thought was probably my best writing that I've ever done, got rejected from the yearly school literary magazine. I thought I wasn't expecting too much to come of it, but I'm finding myself a lot more dissappointed then I thought I would be. :-(
