Well...I don't know. Hmm...caffeine never really helps me, and a cold shower probably won't do a thing.


But if I go to sleep now, I probably won't wake up for twelve hours.

Whee, I just got my first mosquito bites of the season while cleaning off my deck. The thing is, I did a really crappy job with getting everything off of it, so the mosquito bites were kinda useless.

I feel awake. I just ran down to the local Indian Deli and Corner Store and bought an Imported Mexican Coke. Tasted so good, I immediatley woke up and realized I fell asleep in the store. Then I bought a real one and drank it.

I suppose that's a good sign, considering last night.

I went to a comedy show with a group of friends, wound up consuming too many adult beverages and wound up walking home from downtown (only about a 1.5 miles from my place). I got stopped by a cop because he said I was "suspicious" (what is suspicious about someone walking down the side of the road at 2AM?). I told him the truth (that I'd had too much to drink, and decided to walk home instead of drive), fully expecting him to run me in on a "Public Intoxication" (even though I wasn't causing a problem, I was just walking home). He said he was glad I wasn't driving and that I was honest and offered to call me a cab, but I declined since I was only about 100 yards from my apartment when he stopped me.

I'm going to go get my car now.

Moral of the story: Don't drink and drive. I didn't, and I'm alive, my car is in one piece, and I'm not in jail.

I went to bed at 1 this morning, spent until 1:30 channel surfing [tv in the room yo!], then couldn't fall asleep until 2:30, maybe 3:00. GAH.
