The mind is a horrible thing. I have forgotten many of the tinier details to Midnight Hunters (mainly from dreams I've had) while my step dad's brothers were visiting for a week. Of course, their visit gave me more ideas for the novel, but still... |

I feel MUCH better now. So last night my bladder was all full because I drank about a gallon of water while at work or something like that. So I went into the bathroom, and as soon as I turned on the lights, this enormous camel cricket in the middle of the floor. My first instinct was to step on it, but then I realized I was wearing socks, so that was no good. As I quickly looked around, needing to pee but also needing something to kill this abomination, the cricket started jumping at me! Several times! It then hid under the sink (where it could still pull it's crazy kamikaze runs). At this point I said screw this and went to bed. This morning, there was no cricket, so I am happy. These are the thrilling adventures of Capt. Ido! |

I'm feeling uh... a lot. Stressed thanks to school (you people off already, you lucky souls,) but quite cheerful for some reason. And finally, I'm feeling like starting a moshpit thanks to loads of my favourite songs cropping up on shuffle one after the other. Except it's just me and the moths up here. Uhh... mothpit?

Are you addressing me? I'm 15, so I still have one more year of obligatory education. And I'm planning to go onto college/sixth form. Wahoo? Thank you for overestimating my age. Most people underestimate it, which can get very frustrating, especially when the combination of bus pass and birth certificate fails to convince the tall, patronising, seventeen-year-old guy at the counter of Zavvi/HMV. Actually, one of them was okay about it, but the other one said 'aw, bless' to me after taking five minutes of staring at my face and the photo on the bus pass. Why is it that all ID photos are hideous? I look like I stole someone else's nose on every one I have. |
