First off, it's a toss up with Aspergers with me. Some people who are diagnosed are not and vice versa. It can really go either way. And what's with this negativity? I was just showing my opinion in a short but sweet way, then everyone gets in my grill for it and thinks that my opinion is false. I've looked at the facts, and I have came up with my own conclusion about the validity of ADD as a legit disorder. I KNOW cancer is real because people DIE from it. Christ, you guys... can't we just freaking drop it and toastpaint this already? |

ChickenLeg wrote: HHFOV wrote: Okay, unless you were kidding, that was really insensitive, cruel, and inaccurate. Sure, there are misdiagnoses of ADD. Sure, some people blame problems in their personality on ADD falsely. But to say that it "isn't real" has about as much credibility as saying something like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia isn't real. Come on. I'm just saying that not being able to pay attention to things that bore said person isn't abnormal. There are many mental illnesses out there, but I for one refuse to believe there's such a thing as ADD. Notice how those with ADD seem to really focus on the things they find interesting? So you've read the Alphabet of Manliness too. |

A bit happy and a bit peeved. I received tracking info for DFH today, and it gave me a tracking number, and said that it might be by FedEx or UPS. I checked the number on both sites, and both of them have no recollection of that number in its database. |

Heh, I'm feeling pretty good. My step dad just got mad at me because I had to have my four alarm clocks go off at the same same time to wake me up. |

Ah, it's great what two more hours of sleep can do for you. I'm feeling pretty good today. I woke up fairly easily, and rode in today in a spiffy new car with a nice guy and we talked about the goofus in front of us who's dumb enough to have a Crown Victoria with tinted windows in this area. |

I'm a little freaked out and paranoid. Last night, at around 1 AM, someone called me. I answered, they said nothing, and then I heard the sound you get when someone IMs you via Trillian, and then he/she/it hung up. I thought someone was coming after me... |

No, cops around here don't seem to know what "undercover" is. Or "law" for that matter. |

Yeah, in Northern VA, every single undercover cop drives a Crown Victoria. So much so that they aren't undercover, they're just wearing casual clothes. |

If I'm reading correctly, Wikipedia is revealing to me that they appear to be used elsewhere.EDIT: I forgot to post this earlier than I did. ![]() EDIT 2: OH GOD YES MY SUPER NINTENDO JUST ARRIVED IN THE MAIL! The Super Gameboy is a godly device; I wasn't expecting it to have a pop-up menu with so many options. I just wish that it played Gameboy Color games. Mario Paint is also awesome--I get a Kid Pix vibe from it. However, trying to fill the entire screen with a design takes quite awhile; the poor SNES must be chugging its little heart out with that game. |

I loved that thing. I especially enjoyed all the cool borders you could choose from (and the specially made borders that were game-specific). |

Well, my brother was the one who owned the SNES in the past, so I never really got to play it too much. I do like the game-specific backgrounds, though; I've only had one pop up with Pokemon so far (it's the same one as in Stadium, surprisingly), and I was hoping that Link's Awakening had one, but oh well. Now all I have to wait for is the original Gameboy, which should be arriving either today or tomorrow. |
