Post subject:  Re: How are you feeling?

So, today I had to go to the high school to get my picture taken. I decided probably Friday of last week to have a field day out of it. So, I did. Here's how it all went down:

I leave at approximately 10 AM and ride down the street singing Polyanna until I get to Lagens, at which point I get the letters my mom needed sent mailed. I go through the neighborhood streets until I find the stop light crossing. Took about five minutes to cross, since I think I might have pressed the wrong cross button by mistake several times. So, I go down that street and after a few annoying route restrictions, I see the high school through the foliage. I decide to enter the premises via a quiet street. BUT GUESS WHAT. All the streets I tried were dead ends. So after a drink of water I go back seven blocks to the intersection with the construction and enter that way having to stop suddenly a lot for speed bumps. The school's going through it's yearly reconstruction or whatever, so I lock up my bike and go in the pool doors, which I'm not supposed to do. But I did it anyway, BECAUSE I'M A PUNK AND THAT'S HOW I ROLL. Mang.

So, I go to the room specified, only to go down several more hallways since it was relocated. So, I sit there for an hour, waiting to get my pictures taken, so I read that manual on installing wacom drivers on Linux a bit whilst taking notes. My turn comes up, and I'm out in three minutes. I split from the others then, which I was kind of upset about, since I wanted to see what Kyle's grandpa's army uniform looked like. Bit of a WWII buff.

Anyway, I'm off again, going into the southwest part of town. I happen along Circle Park and I notice swings. So, what the heck? I play for a few minutes with my bike unlocked in my sight and enjoy something that was taken from us from Northeast Park. Jerks.

Off again, and I stop at All-American Comics. I've been wanting to go there since the cheesy film where everyone was reading Tuesdays with Morrie in a feeble attempt to make the student body read it. Side note: I'm not going to, despite being summer homework. Seriously, schoolwork in SUMMER? What the heck? I have better crap to do! So anyway, I enter after taking a gulp of water and after a few minutes pick Bite Club #5, Punisher #I have no freaking clue, Spawn #180, and The Programme #9. Paid for them and left.

Rode to Ace Hardware to find this particular screwdriver I need to take apart my Gamecube controller, but they weren't there. I also tried looking for screws to replace my stripped SNES screws, but none were found. Hell with it, I'll just raid dad's tiny, tiny screw drawers. At least I got the information to go to Jewels to look for the screwdriver, so I will.

I went past Central, and stop at the library. I find that Linux book I want, plus a book on myths, Hellsing #1, and Loamhedge. Hey, maybe I can write about those books instead and hopefully get away with it! So I go to the self-checkout, but I get a bad computer, so I go one over and follow the instructions to check them out. Turns out I have a $.05 late fee. I remember returning everything and paying for everything that was late, so I don't know if this is library error, or I should stop using the book drop.

Then, I ride home, but get sidetracked at Lagens. Good ol' Lagens. Good ol' 4-aisle, cramped, overpriced neighborhood convienience store. I get a gallon of Gatorade, but I change that for a bottle when I find french vanilla ice cream and am reminded that my mom wanted ice cream, but couldn't since all the ice cream we had had chocolate and/or nuts, to which she is allergic to. I reach checkout, grab a Butterfinger, and head home. Mom was happy and payed me back while I made room by eating the rest of the rocky road. I then went into my room to rest my back from lugging books in my backpack and read the comics I purchased. Let me tell you: Bite Club is awesome. Page two and we're already at boobies the way God intended them to be shown. :D The other three were meh. Punisher is racist against whites, though. They call us cracka, boi. D:

I wish, though, that I had lunch. There's a Panera Bread right by the library. Speaking of that, I'm going to go to Bleaker's sometime and play a few rounds.

In short, this was a grand several hours and I probably got a tan a basement dweller would never otherwise get.

And now, to get down to work.

Also, in before tl;dr.

Augh!!!

I hate cell phones!

This was first time I've gotten to talk to my girlfriend in almost two weeks, and barely after we said hi her cell phone signal started crapping out. Only thing I was able to hear clearly was a dissapointed "talk to you later". No answer when I called back.

Argh...

I'm feeling mehish. First football practice today. I'm pretty excited about the probability of playing tail back, and did OK at the position.

I just can't get over the disappointing fact that I dropped the first hand-off that I was supposed to take. That's cool though, I felt better after watching the quarterbacks making terrible throws.

in b4 now whoever cares raise your hand.

I'm pretty sore, too. I had my first good workout in a while. Not only did I row (20 minutes, made 4930ish meters) but I also got some good pushups and situps in there as well. I've decided that I'm going to work my way up to a hundred pushups in a day, every day. Right now I fight to get to 50, so that's what I'm working towards. Once I get comfortable there, I'll start to build up.

Also, had a Coke Zero this morning that I accidentally bought last night. Now I'm awake, and didn't kill my workout with the calories. Nice.

It's also quite loverly outside, so that is nice. :)

Tired and bored and aggrivated.
I'm home alone- Dad's at work and working through lunch, Mom and older sister at the bank and running other errands, little sister at day camp. It's great, and happens a lot when you're 14.
I have three dogs. My biggest dog threw up right as mom left. Eww. I cleaned it up, and washed the floor. It was ok, it wasn't really his fault.
Right as I finish, my littler dog poops. Uggghhh. After walking. cleaning, and scolding him, I decide to take a nap. I wake up, and find that one of my three cactuses has died. Fantastic. The only thing I'm looking forward to is the wings I have in the oven.

A bit tired. I just biked 3 miles in 13 1/2 minutes. Usually it takes me 15. I'm good. ;)

I learned that I won't get to cut up any dead bodies after all. I'm kind of disappointed.

I'm always hidden. Mods can see who's hiding, though.

Feeling puzzled.

I'm looking for a video of the sketch Conan O'Brien did a few months (Years?) back, in which Conan and most of the Max Weinberg 7 attempt to steal a diamond (Hope Diamond, I think...) that was being stored in a safe in the building.

At one point in the ten minute long or so sketch, They round a corner to find a secretary standing behind a counter, and Conan says "Don't Worry, I'll put on the old 'Conan Charm'" and then proceeds to walk towards her, give a small chuckles, and then spray her in the eyes with mace.

Annoyed. I restart the computer because it was running too slowly for me earlier today, and when I restart the taskbar disappears when ObjectDock is... loaded...

Hmm...

Trippin'. I think there's an option in OD to remove the taskbar, maybe that got checked somehow?
Also, I feel rather happy for reasons no one will understand.

If you think the bands are that bad, braces will be a fun ride.

Not if you get the ones that can open up like doors.

Yeah I figured that out myself. I'm guessing that hard restarting must have damaged the options data in some way, causing it to revert to default settings.

I personally can't wait for school to begin. Last year of High School, only 5 periods a day, yes, FIVE PERIODS, which means that any time after 1:00 is time I can do whatever I wish, graduation, and then finally, the grand reward, getting the Funk out of this god forsaken state and into my own home!
