w00t, four day weekend!

Too bad I have an essay to do...

I have to do an essay in three days. Well, some of an essay. Three paragraphs. But they have to be pretty long.

It's not that bad, I was just hoping for more of a break. After having three essays due in a period of three days (one of which assigned the day before it was due) with, of course, other homework on top, I think I deserve some more time to relax. It probably won't be too hard, though, as long as I just get it over with.

What makes me scared is that that's not as bad as it gets. At leas the triple essay thing only happened once, and probably won't happen again this year.

Temperatures here have been like that for about 5 months.
It's 11:30, 75 degrees with 90% humidity. Which makes it feel like 80.

I would have expected October-like weather earlier, actually. In the area I live, the July temperature rarely hit 90. For that temperature in that month, it's great. But not in October. I want to see mid 60's here, God!

Blah. I think I have a cold. It didn't help I woke up at 3:30 and then go on a total of a 4 hour flight.

Feeling good. I'm back home till Tuesday night thanks to Fall Break. Finished most of my midterms and prelims and I had to write my first f'reals college essay for Thursday. It turned out OK I thought, but who knows what Professor Falk was looking for?

I mean, come on. "The Roles and Responsibilities of Women in Ancient Society, from Egypt to Islam?"

Can anyone REALLY make that a good essay?

Also, Dormy, BTG, how is the snow in upstate NY? Specifically Ithaca, if you know. I hope there's lots and lots of snow, it's been way too hot up there lately and I have to walk about 4 miles to my classes every day.

On second thought, walking to class through 4 miles of snow may not be too much fun, actually. Here's hoping it snows everywhere except on the paths I have to take. Sucks to be you, College of Engineering. ;)

I agree, it was way to humid yesterday. I had to come back inside before I sweat to death.

Cornell is up on East Hill, you are going to get dumped on. I'm taking to you from personal experience on this one, my college is on a hill and the weather up there in the winter is nasty. Lucky for you, though, you are outside the Lake Ontario Snowbelt.

It all depends. Usually, upstate NY gets a good amount of snow. But these past few years have been odd. We didn't get any significant amount of snow this year until January.

All of the people in our church and lots more people around where I live are feeling sick too. There's a stomach bug going around.

Many people at my school have colds. I'm seriously paranoid that I might catch it.

I'm sorry, shall we entertain you some more? How about we have Gravey and Jones fight to death in a dance off?
