Yes, curliness is the fail. The only people who like it are tremendously old.

I probably couldn't straighten my hair either but if I did it would go down to like my feet. Currently it's just a small poof coiled really really tightly. It looks terrible right when I get up and is only mildly O.K. right when I get out of the shower.
