My dance crew, Elktrik Krew, at the Driven To Perform Hip-Hop Competition!! It was held in B.C. Place Stadium, which is huge, and we had a massive crowd watching us. We were also the second youngest group up against Vancouver's best in the hip-hop industry. Incidentally, it was a big deal.

But as it turns out, WE WON!!! First place baby! :mrgreen:

Anyone aware of Kaba Modern, the dance crew that placed third on "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew"? Yeah? Well they showcased at the competition and made up most of the judging panel. Anyone also aware of Melissa R, one of the finalists on "The Search For the Next Pussycat Doll"? Yeah? She was a judge too. And according to them, we deserved first! (One judge even gave a perfect 100/100 score!!!)

So yeah, Elktrik Krew ended up getting a big mother truckin' trophy and a chash prize. Incidentally, it was an epic Saturday night. My crew and I are still ecstatic.

So please take a gander at the vid. :)

P.S. Sorry for the music quality in the video. I didn't record the video myself, but the person who did obviously used a camera that couldn't handle the crunch of the bass.

P.P.S. I'm the dancer that ends up on the far right at the end. :)

I don't know why they used a photo of me when I was 15, the one from my permit, instead of the brand new photo I took for my ID just the year before (that was issued to me in 2006). The DMV continues to baffle me. Oh, and the scanner took off the '4' from my '84' on my DOB so you can theorize any number after it.

Yeah. Yeah. Babble. I should've just re-scanned the darn thing. *lazes*

Way back when. It was starting to disappear at around age 12... if you squint really hard you can see the fading pixels.

haha, the height is wrong too. I'm 5'0", not 5'2". I just wished I was 5'2".

When I got my license, my dad put in that I was 6'3". At that time I was lucky if I was 5'10" let alone 6'3". It looks less ambitious now because I am 6'2".

You guys get a lot of information or your driver's licences. Mine just has name, address, date of birth and a lot of numbers and pictures that a computer can read.

I wore this on the bus. You should've seen the looks I got.
It was a drama thing. I was being married to a dead man. (Played by my friend in a very cool coat, and red eyeliner as blood trickling from her mouth.) We got a lot of applause, and odd looks. We looked like a gothic horror 15th century village population that got a little lost in the middle of London. We sung the miorita and everything.
The costume cupboard at my school is like Narnia on a 50p budget. You ask them for a costume pile for a wedding of the dead, and you get enough for an entire village, not just four girls and the librarian.
