Hmm...are some of those avatars stretching like this-guy's? It's really annoying...

EDIT: Okay, nevermind--back to a single avatar. This one is of a Geolyte from the Nintendo DS game Meteos. I had another version of this avatar a long time ago, but this one [from the IGN Boards] is much smoother.

I feel stupid for asking this but where did "Use the Control Pad to Surf Rad" come from?

You're not stupid for asking it; it's from the surfing Pikachu mini-game in Pokemon Yellow. If you taught your Pikachu the move Surf (via Pokemon Stadium 1), you could go to the surfer's house to play a surfing game. I only got to play it once on my friend's copy of the game, but I found the sprite sheet earlier today and decided to make something for it.

I originally planned for it to be my avatar, but I decided to put it as my signature instead (I haven't gotten the chance to make a signature-sized version of it yet).

I used to have this same signature years ago, but with "AAAARRRRGGGLLLBLLBL!!!" as the text. I just wanted to get another avatar/signature theme going while celebrating this fun time period.

It looks like the bg is just flicking between two frames. Which would mean it could be going in either direction.

Now that I look at it closely I can see that he's going backwards, but yeah, it does mainly look like he's just walking. :/

My new sig is themed from the Smashing Pumpkins newest album, Zeitgeist. Its hard to believe in a couple months, it will be a year old. Man time is zipping by lately. Anyways, I got the banner from SmashingPumpkins.com, took out all the extra crap and recolored it from gray to my yellow scheme.
