I do what I can, Noid.

So anyhow, yup, nothing new to report here. I don't seem to have developed any new mental illnesses in the last 2 hours or so. Unless stress counts as a mental illness?

Final exams = YEARGH

So I realized recently that I'm INCREDIBLY OCD. Not in everything I do, but in a few things, it's just bad.
I have to write with pen, and I've written with pen for four years now. When I use a pencil in math, nothing ever happens. I think everything I write is sloppy and continuously have to start over. Pens eliminate this need, because it gets worse when I scribble it out. Also, if have a tendency to completely change my style of writing in a matter of hours. If I suddenly decide I don't like the way my e's look, I change it. (I used e because it is the most common change for me.)
I have no problem in pointing out things that aren't straight or need adjusting. No problem at all. And I'll start yelling if no one listens to me.

I know I am OCD about several things, but I can't remember them for the life of me right now.

But here is one that I remember:
Things need to be in numerical order. If it has a number somewhere on it, it needs to be in order.

I have some sort of nebulous mass of OCD floating about in my brain, but it rarely manifests itself.

I guess one of the things is that I like structure- but only in certain areas. Example, I am of the belief that everyone should have exactly three names: first, middle, and last. People not having middle names bugs me. People who hyphenate their last names or have two last names when they get married bug me. I'm fine with guys taking their wives' names, but there's this weird tendency in me that says a family should have one name. >>

And back when I was a littlie, if I had, say, a Barbie doll and a Bratz doll, they would never interact. Their differing appearances and canons made their meeting a logical impossibility. I got really mad at my friends who would play with toys from different fictional universes at the same time.

I also never draw on my folders, binders, notebooks, or my skin... I never throw out food, I always either give it to my friends or leave it out for animals (for no reason other than the feeling that all food is meant to be eaten)... I don't remove my nail polish until there is one nail that doesn't have even one little fleck of polish clinging to it...

We all have these weird little tendencies, I think.

Judging by some of our roleplays, I am guessing that you have abandoned that.

That's different. Crossovers in fiction are awesome because characters traveling between universes have their appearances and situations change to fit in with the other characters.

I loved making up crossovers when I was little. This is relevant to mental problems because the first time I saw a crossover on TV, I was terrified and had to leave the room. Crossovers were my idea...

I always have this tendency to get upset whenever the class does something wrong and gets yelled at.

Needless to say, I am pretty much a fish in a barrel in art today.

Okay, this came up today at school, so here is a list of the things I'm, OCD about.

Food on my plate can NEVER touch, and this isn't because I don't like the flavors to mix.

Things with numbers/colors MUST go into numerical/rainbow order. ALWAYS.

And here is the biggest one:
If I use something once, I MUST continue to use that thing for as long as humanly possible.
Examples: I have used the same bathroom/toilet all 4 years of High School, it was the first one I used, so I continued using it.
I have used the same art supplies since the first day of school, with the exception of when I got angry at my painting and snapped my paint brush in half. I changed that brush to an almost identical one, the only difference between the two was the first had a black handle, and the second had a dark blue handle, and that annoyed me for weeks.

And today, this girl I was sharing water with in Art put up the cup we were using, and I didn't know where she put it, so I searched through a cabinet of like, 100 cups trying to find my cup, luckily, I found it.
Bleh.

Here's a habit I developed recently: Can't spend any money, be it bills or coins, without checking the year it was printed/minted in.

I feel like I have to be in charge of everything, but that's more of a personality thing then a mental problem.

Same. Like, I couldn't even IMAGINE being in a band without being the frontman/most significant person in it.

Guess it's just, like, narcissism. :/

So I guess I've been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder now. Spelled with a z, not an s as is normal in Australian English. That's what I thought I had.

(takes a deep breath because she's not quite sure how some people will react) I was diagnosed as bipolar about eight or nine years ago and had to be put in the mental hospital because I was suicidal and delusional. Let's just say I never want to go through that again. The country's mental health facilities are awful! If it hadn't been for a freaking genius of a psychiatrist I would not be a stable member of society today.

I think I get it from my mother. She's never been diagnosed with anything, but she did try to kill herself once and was also hospitalized several times in her twenties. Only my family and best friend know about it because you never know how people will react to mental illnesses. They have sympathy for cancer patients but fear of bipolar people.

Sometimes I think my manic-depression is the price nature made me pay for my raw writing talent. I'd actually write some of the my best original short stories during mania like one about the royal Yak-Yak bird. Nevertheless, I wouldn't wish manic-depression on my worst enemy. All I can say is I wish that people knew that the mentally ill can be functioning members of society with the right treatmeant.

^True. All of it. I should know except I'm unipolar. But still, they should at least have better hospital food. And maybe when there's good food to not interrupt said person for something, thereby missing most of the deliciousness.

I'm insane. All of my writing ideas come from my dreams, and are developed by my insanity.

For example, when alone, I will work and imitate items and objects with my fingers and hands. It's quite confusing for words to describe, so I'll leave it at that.

Also, I seem to be developing the thought that I am breathing too heavily around groups of people or when I listen to my iPod too loud.

My breathing gets weird when I listen to my iPod. It gets really, REALLY slow, and shallow. I don't think I get enough oxygen. XD Maybe that heightens the effect.

I twitch all the time. I think it might be due to my ADHD but I'm not sure. The medication does seem to be helping, though.

I have OCD. It's not an organizational kind of thing, but I have to tap stuff, like, all the time. And when I do it it has to be like, on a certain thought. It's kind of hard to explain. I also have a hard time looking at people when I talk to them, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with anything.

Same here. So when I pass people when I walk to school I either hold my breath or take shorter breaths or take out my earbuds. It's really awkward and really weird.
