Everyone on the internet has apergers's..

Seriously? I've never been diagnosed/went to a psychiatrist or whatever, so I have noooo clue. I'm sure I have some kind of attention problem, and some other crap, but honestly, so many people these days have mental "issues" that it's pretty much normal if you're not a drooling twenty-four year old.

And yet some are discriminated just because of petty differences.

I have no problem with people with aspergers, for the most part they're nice people. It's people like Clan that gives them a bad name.

Exactly. Mandy, for instance, is a lulzmaker.

I have OCD, big time. I took pills for it when I was 5 or 6, but they don't help, so I continue to be obsessive and others suffer for it.

Mom's schizophrenic, Dad's dyslexic, and I'm OCD. The stereotypical American family, no?

Have a wonderful time. Or at least the best you can make out of the situation.

The fanstuff wiki already has one.

And there are a lot of people with Asperger's Syndrome on the internet because communication over the internet is a lot easier than communication face to face. That's part of the reason, anyway.

I used to think I was OCD, but I'm really just superstitious. I also used to think I had ADD and insomnia, but those both went away when I started exercising and stopped drinking caffeine. So that just leaves... haptophobia!

I have a drinking problem.

*smashes drink into face*

Nah, I don't really have any big mental problems... except maybe OCD. I dunno.

Aww. <3

And by the way, Rusty, I'd really appreciate it if you'd stop demeaning those of us who have genuine mental disorders. Same goes for several of you, actually.

Sorry.

Keep in mind, I've been VERY stressed lately, what with high school starting and all, and my self-esteem's been pretty low for the past few days or so.

Personnelly I think that around 70% of all diagnosed mental conditions arnt actually there. Its just the way humans develope while growing, there is nothing wrong with you. Doctors just spill this crap about having stuff to make more money and help further thier career.

Random guy: Are you sure.
Dr: yes, now buy these pills everyday.
Random guy who now "has" adhd: Fine, How much they cost.
Dr: only 15 dollars
random guy: thats not to bad.
*random guy leaves*
dr: sucker. Woot im richer.
he gets addictedd to the pills and spend all of his money on them, then O.D and dies.

Was that directed at me or was it a general statement?

It was directed at drug addicts, when I said story of your life? I was asking if it happened to anyone.

I hate how people bash ADD/ADHD, just because it is common, doesn't mean it's real. Cancer is common but nobody says that that isn't real.

I'll be honest. I bash it, too. Mainly because too many people use it as an excuse.
So, you act up because you can't pay attention in class? Why can you play a video game for 3 hours, then?

I'm not saying it doesn't exist. I know it DOES, but I think that the actual number of people that have it is far less than the number of people who are told they have it.

I'm sick of hearing everyone use disorders as excuses. All of the phony things people have made up to excuse crappy parenting/poor social skills really take away from people with real disorders.

Do I think Mandy has Asperger's? I don't know. I'm leaning towards yes, if it truly exists, because you don't see her acting like a jerk and then blaming it on her condition.
