Whjen I went to church, but was too young to recieve communion, I would see all the older people go up and get theirs. I thought the priest was giving out gum. |

I used to believe that rainbow kitties existed. Like, actually RAINBOW-colored. I'm not kidding. Also, I thought unisex sleepovers were called "bisexual sleepovers". |

I believed my mom when she said that jumping and/or playing basketball made you tall, because pro basketball players are tall. It wasn't until I was 17 or 18 when I corrected her that it was the other way around (being tall generally makes you good at basketball, NOT playing basketball makes you tall). Mom wasn't joking, she actually thought that. |

How would you know if she was joking? Moms are bad at jokes. Yeah, I thought The Simpsons was a kids' show. |

I mistook Rosie O'Donnell for Roseanne Barr. Then again, I was like eight and all Americans looked the same to me. |

well this one is STUPID, when i was 3 i thought cartoon characters were real people being filmed and that video games were really movies that you can control and that the people are really there, so like i thought that Mario was being filmed on a camera and that pressing the buttons would make people tell him what to do, pretty stupid eh? oh i also thought that the monsters in Ocarina of time when i was older would jump out of the video game and eat me, I was freaked by the miniboss music when it came on i would jump back |

For some reason, when I was a little kid I was afraid to drive past graveyards. I used to hold my breath and practically duck my head between my knees, because otherwise I was sure that ghosts would follow me home. |

I still do that, except, minus the sticking of head between knees.
I thought I was the only one, until I noticed that my friend was doing it during a weekend road trip we took a while back… |

I thought I was the only one, until I noticed that my friend was doing it during a weekend road trip we took a while back… Wow, I never figured that other people would've been doing that. I don't anymore, though, but for the longest time I did. Oh and also I had this constant fantasy that every loud noise I heard in the night was a rapist breaking into the house. I was a disturbed child. |

And let me tell you, once you get them here, they don't leave. All they do is raid your fridge. Do you think they care that you paid for that pizza or that beer? Nope. Stupid ghosts. When I was a little kid, I used to think that when someone got fired they literally got set on fire. |

I used to think flour was ground flower. I also used to get the meaning of "legal" and "illegal" confused, so I always got lawsuits. I didn't eben know what lawsuits were, eben. |

I always heard people say 'Never say never', so I thought for a while that 'never' was a swear word. |
