| Post subject: | One time, at an intersection... |
You ever hear of "One time at band camp?" Well this is where you post all of the crazy/funny/cool/stupid/inconsiderate/horrible things that you/your parents/some other person did while driving. For example, yesterday I was driving home from school and I turn into the turning lane at the intersection. Light goes red. A car starts to move out into the street. All of the sudden, some woman in a red pickup thinks that she can somehow make it through and smacks this guy in the side of the engine. Big bang, glass goes everywhere. All of this happens about 10 feet smack dab in front of the van I'm driving. Thankfully, neither person was hurt and everything was under controll. We (my mom and I) stuck around for about another light and then snuck past when the green arrow came up (no not the superhero). Here's another one for you. A few days ago I was (once again) on my way home from shcool, I turn into a different turn lane at a different intersection. Big line of cars in front. Arrow goes green, me and the car in front of me don't make it before it goes red again. No problem, we'll just wait for the green light. Green light comes on. The lady in front doesn't move. I can handle that, most people wait for 2 or 3 seconds before moving (I can't imagine why). 2 or 3 seconds go by. Lady doesn't move. I honk. She sits there. I wait 3 seconds. Still not moving. I honk again. Still sitting there. The truck behind me honks, and then the light goes red. We sit there untill the next green arrow and THEN the lady moves. I was ticked. But whatever. |

yesterday we were going thru downtown (not mentioning city name) and my dad couldn't see these people because the bars on the ends of the windshield and almost hit the people, but my brother stopped him on time. Also yesterday my brother was driving and he doesn't know this area but the other person knows it because she lives here so he is at a stop sign and they said turn left at the stoplight and he starts turning but then they start yelling and saying "no turn at the stoplight not the stop sign!" then of course his mind is focused on that and so he goes straight and accidentally runs through a stop sign. |
