And now for something completely different.

Several years ago, I went by the name of Narluin Arthalion(sometimes Narluin_Arthalion or NarluinArthalion when not granted the luxury of spaces *grumbles* ). This was a Tolkien Elvish name I put together using the elvish name dictionary at the back of my copy of the Simarillion. Some of you may recognize the first name as what I call my magic ring in Operation: Story Teller.

One of the forums I used most often was FXhome. At the time, I was new to forums and had not yet mastered the art of electronic conversation. I made quite a few mistakes, some of which resembled a few of Clan rHrN's milder offenses and annoyances. At one point I realized how much of a jerk I made of myself, so I left FXhome's forums; never to return.

I used the name for a while, but it was eventually dropped with the intention of starting over with a clean slate. On a few minor forums that required no account, I went by the name Some Guy or Some One. This was because it did not seem necessary to make a good name at the time.

When I found Lucasforums, Some One was still etched in my mind. However, this was the type of forum that required me to create an account, so I needed a better name. I thought it would be cool to be a droid, so I had to come up with a designation code. Then it hit me; Some One + Droid = SOMM-1.

For a while I used a Trade Federation Battle Droid as an avatar, but this would not suffice for long. Shortly after I created the avatar which you all have become so familiar with, I found this place. The acronym "Self-Operating Mechanical Man" as well as the full body picture of my droid persona soon followed...

And it was all uphill from there.
The End.

It's a portmanteau of shweet and coo. Some people on a forum I used to frequent came up with it after arguing about which made up word was better. I liked it, and took it as my screen name a year or so after that forum died.

Mine's pretty obvious and boring.
Yeah, it's my name.
Yeah, it has a 'D! at the end.
Whoop de doo.
I wish I could change it, but even if I could anymore, it would just be confusing.
But for another name I was thinking either 'turducken' or 'TheSilentPhilosopher'. Which I both like.

I wanted a Homestar related name and noticed that Coach Z was gonna dress up as this ugly clay mascot. I liked the sound of "The Noid" so I took it.

If it wasn't The Noid, it probably would have been my old Neopets name.

The Cool Duck came from Halloween Potion-ma-jig. It was one of the things Homestar wrote on the page. When I chose a username, I wanted more than just "Cool Duck," so I chose this.

It was all I could think of. I had images of glowing rabbits in green stuck in my head ever since a strange dream I had. Green rabbits reminded me of zoology. Animals + Experiment = Zoology. Somehow. That, and rather good helped.

I go by other names on the internets, but I didn't like any of them, and so needed a new one for this forum. I know another guy who goes by Super Sam, so I thought that was kinda cool. The only cool adjective I could think of that starts with ST (since my name is Stephen) is Stupendous, and Stupendous Stephen was just a bit too long. Therefore, I shortened it into STupendous. And then the 7 is on the end because I accidentally messed up my e-mail address the first two times I tried to register. -_-

WAIT! No, wrong!

I remember it clearly now. The song by The Who that constantly say "Who are you? Who, who? Who, who?" I thought that song said "Zoology, zoo zoo, zoo zoo" So the REAL story is much better. Pfft. The Who is way better than green glowing rabbits. Although the glowing rabbits thing is true (as in I heard of it, not that it actually happened, but it might of).

Uh, no.
Apparently you don't see the humor in a n00b (hypocritically) attacking a regular because of sarcasm he doesn't understand.

Let's all calm it down a bit, shall we?

Homestar55, please try to correct your spelling and grammar in the future. Everyone else, cut him a little slack.

My username came to be after a demigod battled a dragon atop a large mountain that nobody had dared climb before. After the year-long battle, the demigod, torn to shreads--missing limbs, an eye, and his hair--decided to sit down and play on the Nintendo DS. This demigod enjoyed the system so much that when he returned to his wife, they had a child named DS_Kid.

The wife then realized that the demigod liked the DS more than her, so she went into a frenzy before having a divorce, living on the streets for several months, and marrying some gangster.

That's the bedtime story that I was told every night, and I still believe it to this day, because parents always tell the truth!

I was very young and needed a screen-name for a website.

I used it constantly until last year, and I could really use a name-change.

Well, I've always gone by Mandy online, because that's the name of my character (and I just really love the name). I was Shippy Mandy at one point, but on another forum, someone dubbed me Shippinator Mandy. The name stuck.

My usernames always have had something to do with potatoes (I'm TastyTater on the GMC and on the CWMania forums.) So, I used Potates, because I wanted potatoes aw well as an h*r reference.

I'm an anim(e) (m)aniac. And also, Zero (from the Megaman X game series) is one of my favorite video game characters.

Oh, and I use this name on many other message boards as well, so if you see this same name, ...that's me too.

The first time I just thought of the phrase "Tiny Cowboy" I laughed for about 15 minutes. First name is John, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Though sometimes I like to tell people it's from FFVII, as a reference to the Tiny Bronco. A Tiny Cowboy would ride a Tiny Bronco, no?

But that's a lie, if I ever tell you that that's where it's from, I'll be lying.

"Jitka" comes from the abbreviation of my username. JTTC = Jitka. Get it now? I thought that you might.
