There's an identical thread on a forum that my Dad's a member of, and I thought it sounded gross yet interesting. I don't have any pics, but we had some very mushy black cucumbers. Et tu?

That open box of baking soda, or maybe those condiment packets in the bottom of the drawer. Duck sauce and whatnot.

The lightbulb and cooling systems, along with the shelves and other fixtures.

Next question.

Well, about a year or two ago, I happened to find a pickle jar that had a '98 expiration date.

What a waste of an already wasted vegetable.

Box of Arm & Hammer baking soda. Keeps the fridge smelling fresh.

That still works. I could put a dead skunk in there and it won't stink.

A jar of old chopped up olives. Its lid has been open for the past few years and mold grew on the top, keeping the air out and preserving the olives inside. I'm not even gonna try.

Actually, not really. Have you ever smelled a dead skunk up close? I'm not talking about driving past roadkill, I mean being face to face with a half dead one. Those thing reek.

^It's comforting to know that you've been intimate with a half-dead skunk.
