Simple as that - What are your goals? They can range from the simplist, to the most complex. Do you have plans to reach these goals? Are they realistic? Do you focus on them everyday? Do they make you feel good, or disheartened? Do you want me to give you five bucks? I'm not giving you five bucks. Get away from my purse and just get to typin'.

Here are my goals for the year:

    - Get married, depending on laws, on 01/01/2009
    - Pay off my laptop, car, college bills (not that much left, I can do this! Why did I buy a wii again?!)
    - Make my Toph costume for Y-con in October (I think I bought the fabric already...)
    - WRITE SOME MORE STORIES, DANGIT. (I suppose realistically I should say 'write 2 stories which have 2,000 words in 2 weeks' or something. I need to hammer this out.)
    - Polish my resume, and eye potential schoolin' for better jobs. (I'm thinking something in the Medical Coding/Data entry biz. I really want to do this by the end of the year, but I somehow doubt it.)
    - Change my medication so I can lose weight again. (fatfatfat)
    - Send my Hawaii vacation photos to friends/family (wow, why haven't I done this yet? It was back in March...)
    - Unlock all the secrets in every video game I own. (NO, REALLY, I WANT TO. WHY CAN'T I? *sobs*)
    - Sleep
    - Sleep
    - zzzz...

Whenever I stare at my goal list, I feel energized. Like "I can do this!" and then the next time I look at it, which is usually a couple days later, I feel kinda bummed like "Oh, I could've done that yesterday but I didn't..."

What about you?

My main goal? Right now it's to get a job once school ends. I really need money.

Finish Midnight Hunters. It's an endless challenge of not having time to write when I want to, and having all the time in the world when I don't want to write.

In this order:
1. Get a new job that pays better.
2. Get further into my degree and go into research.
3. Quit that job and get all my money from uni stuff. (maybe I'll tutor and stuff as well)
4. Become a doctor of physics. That would be awesome.
5. Make new theories about the universe.

Wow, I make it sound like I really care about money.... When normally it's the opposite. But I would like to be famous, have my name in the text books....

-Finish writing my game. (Jeez, I only have like, 2 pages written)
-Get Flash to animate said game.
-Advertise my Zazzle page.
-Make a movie called "*Insert Title Here*". All of the lines would be "Insert remark here." or "Insert witty comeback here!" It would be awesome!
-Get a role in Lord Randall 4.* (My brother is Spiderman; I want to be Spiderkid...And my mom wants to be Spidermom)

*Paco is supposed to be like Hobbes in Calvin and Hobbes.

- Redo my Elite Beat Agents parody with my friend. We attempted it last summer, but I grew bored of it and deleted all of our live-action shots and Flash symbols. Our new version of it should be much better, though. In fact, I'd say that our plans will show people how to truly make an Elite Beat Agents parody that matches the game almost spot-on.

- Make some money by working at a plant stand for about a month after school ends.

- Be able to hang out with my friends a lot more this summer than last summer.

1. Graduate from college
2. Get a good-paying theatre job, ultimately with Blue Man Group
3. Get married to an awesome woman
3. Gain at least 30 pounds so I won't be a twig anymore (5'8, 112-115 pounds)
4. Go to Scotland, Israel, and Canada.
5. Think of a list item that doesn't start with the letter G.
6. PROFIT

My goal is to finish the Black Cat Chase 5K (in October) in 25:xx.xx
The x's can be numbers. Ideally, I'd love to do sub-25 minutes on the thing, but I'm going to be realistic.
Also, I'd like to finish my gym's "mini-triathlon" (Pushups, situps, bicep curls, jump rope, 15 miles on bike, 5K run/walk/crawl/dontdie)

Within the next two years, I'd like to finish a mini-marathon.

Personal goal for the now: Survive today and tomorrow in order to reach the wonder that is a three-day-weekend. *groan*

Lucky you, I've got to work that three day weekend while my parents get to go up to my summer camp.

My goal is to figure out what I need to buy to play my DS and GBA roms on my actual DS. There's all kinds of products out there, but I have no idea what I should actually buy. I gotta get something, though. I'd rather pay forty bucks one time and be able to play any DS or GBA game for free than have to pay forty bucks every time I want a new game.

Yes, I am a proud thief. If I don't have to pay for something, there's no reason to. :-D

My high school goals were to break 5:00 in the mile, break 11:00 in the 2 mile, or break 18:00 in a 5k (just one of those three). Since I didn't break 18 (which I thought would be the easiest for me), I didn't expect to do the other two (especially not the mile). But, as it turns out, the mile would be the one I'd get (I maybe could've broken 11 in the 2-mile if the mile wasn't run first at track meets, and if I hadn't been so focused on the mile).

So anyways, now that high school is done, I'd like to either do 17:xx in a 5k road race or make my college's cross country team (which is really good and difficult to make).

I think it's 13 miles. Half a regular marathon.

:-D

Music, movies, TV shows, video games, I pay for NOTHING! I only pay for food, clothing, and electronics hardware that I can't download.

It's awesome.

Wow. Big man on campus, over here.

Powa to the people. Stick it to the man. Even though not purchasing items legally hurts the little guy just as much. Oh well. Let's just bite the hand that feeds us a little harder... mmm, delicious irony.

Well, I'm back from college now, but I know what you mean.

(Don't worry, I still buy all my console games. I'm afraid to attempt surgery on my Wii to let it play burned discs.)

Also, I have no income, and thus would have no other way to get what I need.

Yeah. Like I've never heard that one before.

edit: Maybe the mods could move your entire thread section into new topic: "Thievery: Fun & Games, or Economical Assault?"

It's still true. I have no money. College, remember. Of course, I would still steal my music if I had lots of money, but at least this way I have an excuse.

I'm selfish, I admit it. It honestly doesn't bother me.

But I agree, toastpaint time now.

Become a piano teacher and eventually write some music of my own.

Get married, preferably to my present girlfriend.

Write a book.
