This.

Also the song "Falling Away with You" by Muse makes me shed a single manly tear.

Mike Gravel's closing speech after losing at the libertarian convention made me bawww, too.

E.T., Phenomenon, and the song "When a Man Loves A Woman" choke me up. Anybody who didn't cry when they saw E.T. has a heart of stone.

I used to cry during the first Pokemon movie. You know the part where everyone's crying floaty tears?

I hate to say it but the first Pokemon movie makes me cry, too. Specifically the scene where all the clone pokemanz and the real pokemanz are fighting and some terrible r&b song is playing...still chokes me up to this day.

For music, Pink Floyd's Goodbye Cruel World and Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees make me cry.

The solo in the song Time. Seriously, when David Gilmour hits that high bend...Oh..It just brings me to tears that something like that solo could be executed so perfectly.

Yeah, I love those single, perfect notes in songs, like it seems the entire song is just a set up for that one note.

Things I can think of off the top of my head...

Books
Half-Blood Prince. C'mon man, it's Dumbledore. (shut up, COLA)
The Amber Spyglass
Le Petit Prince (read it in French, don't know if it has the same impact in English)

Movies
Children of Men. Had me bawling the whole time.
Pan's Labyrinth
The Orphanage
A.I. (even though it was a crappy movie, the ending is so emotional)
Obligatory E.T

TV
Heroes, "Company Man". HRG really will do anything for Claire...
Lost, when Desmond calls Penny in "The Constant" and when they reunite in "There's No Place Like Home". More so the first one.
Futurama, "Jurassic Bark". Yeah, it got me. "Luck of the Fryrish" makes me a little misty-eyed too, but not as much for some reason.

Video Games
Wind Waker, very end when the king decides to die with Hyrule.
Phoenix Wright 3, very end. TRAGIC LOVE IS TRAGIC

Other
The end of the Hitchhiker's Guide radio series (EXTREMELY different from the end of Mostly Harmless)
"War on Drugs" by the Barenaked Ladies, especially performed live

Why does that one make everyone cry? I understand the first one, but this one just isn't heart-ripping material.

Really? Interesting.

Oh, and Time Lord. This is such a horrible video game I can't help but shed a tear at Rare's crappy work.

I think it is. This episode was so much more original than the dog one.

It's especially sad because most of the episode is not sad, then you are suddenly hit with it. The guy Fry has been hating all along was actually someone he should have been proud of. I got teary at this.

Or the other one: a dog gets old and dies lonely. It's sad, but not that sad. The fact that he could have been brought back and lived with Fry again makes it a bit more upsetting, but I just didn't feel this one as much.

It's more that the dog waited there the rest of his life for Fry.

Fry was wrong. Yancy did love him, enough to name his son after him.

If I thought about it long enough I'd probably cry during the solo for Even Rats. Something about it just sounds like "hmm, this is crying material".

Nevemind, I looked the lyrics up and it's just random thoughts strung together with a slogan for Hillary Clinton in it. Sounds nice though.

What makes me cry? Music nearly always does the job. Almost any movie gets me choked up at least once. Here's a few examples...

Musicals:
Les Miserables
Phantom of the Opera
Savior of the World
The Color Purple

Movies:
Lord of the Rings all three of them at one point or another
Titanic (no shame :p )
August Rush

Cartoons:
Fox and the Hound
Dot and the Kangaroo (It has the most traumatic ending ever for a children's movie)
Snoopy Come Home (when I was little)
The Lion King
Pocahontas (Not a favorite, but the music at the end is so beautiful)
All Dogs Go to Heaven
The Land Before Time

Books:
Harry Potter 6
Harry Potter 7
Where the Red Fern Grows

I guess cartoons get to me more for some reason O.o

As for stuff in real life:

Extreme Pain
Disappointment
Loss of friendship
Humiliation
Hurt
sympathy
Anger (You get me angry enough the water works come with it)

Heh. Probably a bit more than you wanted to know :P

I watched it to see Kate Winslet in the buff. I got an added bonus when Leo died. That an me being the history freak that I am, I needed to check for historical accuracy.

My Man-Card can't revoked on account of me finding a Playboy underneath the tree house at the babysitter's at age 6.

I watched Titanic, but only to see ships sinking, people dying, people running and swimming around corridors on the sinking ship, etc.
I thought it was an action movie. I was thoroughly disappointed.

Can I keep my official Mancard?

Books
-The Lord of the Rings: The scene near the end, at the grey havens. It seemed so unnecessary after all they went through.
-Harry Potter had some of those moments, too, but as far as I remember, they didn't make me cry. (Although the last book was very close to at times.)

Movies
-The end of American History X.
-I might have cried at Titanic, too, had it not been for my little sister commenting every single picture from the point where the ship starts to sink on to the very end. We ended up laughing so hard that all the people around us would stare at us accusingly.

TV
-There was this one episode on "Buffy - the Vampire Slayer" where Angel had his soul taken away and he killed Miss Calendar. It was not so much the fact that she died but the way he made Giles find out about it.

Video Games
-Metal Gear Solid 2: I just can't see Otakon cry like that. It was okay in the first game, because the grafics were so bad and his German voice acter made him sound like a complete moron. But THAT one was just plain sad. I lost all motivation to keep playing after that scene.
-Also, Grand Theft Auto, thanks to my stupid sister who enjoyed herself commenting my action with emotional background information. It was like, "Nooo! That paramedic saved your life two years ago!" or "That was your best friend! You had a bad quarrel and he just came over to say he will forgive you! And now you killed him!" It sounds funny, but she would go on and on in details about every single person I met in that game, and she was having the time of her life while she talked me to the edge of tears. :D
-And then there was Resident Evil 2, back when I was 16. One word: "Aadaaaaaaa!!!"

Songs
-The song "Honey" (sung by Bobby Goldsboro) did this to me the first couple of times I listened to it. The text is very sad and the singer underlines the emotions perfectly through his voice. Plus it has some kind of strings or violines in it, which in my opinion make every piece of music emotional.

YES.

Any film where someone does that same kind of break-down reaction, I get the sads.

Also some point in Scrubs I can't remember.
Oh yeah, when Brendan Fraser is dead in Season 3, and Dr. Cox is sad...

EDIT: I just saw Naruto Episode 19, now that is sad. With the music, and the part where Zabuza cries. Darn anime and their emotionalness...
Just like Mononoke Hime and Spirited Away.

Films:
'Grave Of The Fireflies'. I cried all the way through, literally when I saw it the first time. Actually, anything by Studio Ghibli has probably set me off at some point or another. I'm just a sap once you get past the horror fixation.
'Donnie Darko'. The end had me in floods the first time I saw it.
The end of 'Pan's Labyrinth' was also a tearful moment for me.
When I was a kid, 'The Lion King', 'The Land Before Time', and a lot of others made me cry. I don't know if they still do.

Books:
'before i die' by Jenny Downham.
'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak.
'The Sight' by David Clement-Davies.

Songs:
'Nothing To Lose' - Billy Talent.
'I'm Not Okay' - My Chemical Romance (this one is a serious guilty pleasure for me...)
'Dead

There are a lot of others that tug at various heartstrings and have made me cry, but these are the ones that always do it, with no fail. And yes, I have cried in Titanic. My friend made me watch it a while back. I was cynical up until the part where the ship has sunk, and Jack dies. I don't even like Leonardo DiCaprio! I feel... disappointed in myself.

Seriously though, landing on my head once made me cry. That junk hurt, I landed hard.
