Discuss.

I have OCD, which often results on my taking the skin off my hands and then making it worse by having to clean up the blood. I'm also highly narcissistic because I think I'm better than everyone else. People tell me this is bad because I will act better than someone who will react violently. This has happened; and I tend not to lose thanks to the art of being taller than people and having some decent fighting skills. And thus their attempt to stand up to me just makes me more narcissistic.

Also, if you are a "self-diagnosed asperger", you probably aren't an asperger. Seriously, in most cases you just show the symptoms because you are a jerk who has no friends. That's 2 of the symptoms, maybe you are taleneted with mathematics and logic too, but it doesn't mean you have aspergers.

I used to be a Manic Depressive with ADHD and Dyslexia, but thanks to the power of medication and counciling I am now just an occasional depressive with ADD. And I still have Dyslexia too.

ADD is like ADHD without the fun part. It's like あずまんが大王 without 滝野 智!

Actually I wasn't. I think maximum was 40. And most of them are repeats.

I was in the same boat as Ace and Hitlerman though.

For a couple years I was convinced that I was depressed, but I didn't get any treatment for it. I'm over it now, but I still have a couple nasty complexes to deal with.

I wish people would stop labeling others/themselves as mental and just accept that they are different. I don't think of any of those mental things as "problems" I think of them as "differences". Calling them problems and disorders is just an excuse for being intolerant. Not that there aren't people who aren't sick, but mostly people are just different.

That being said I think I do have something. A tick. I have the urge to like make weird noises and twitch, so I do and if I don't it builds up as stress inside of me. I think it's my normal brain development, but most people who are part of it would have grown out of it by 14.

To be honest though, at least having a professional say it can really take the work out of self-guessing. Though for me that helped get a for real diagnosis. Something was very wrong, and I knew it.

I have aspergers, please excuse me for the offensive posts, but my mommy told me it was okay to make fun of people as long as I didn't punch them again

I have Asperger's Syndrome. I was diagnosed by a professional before I even knew what it was, so don't play the "YOU DONT REALLY HAVE IT YOUR JUST A LOSER!1!!" card with me. It's really annoying.

I also have an anxiety disorder of some sort, mostly thanks to my poor social skills. I've been shy since I started school, but I think it's starting to develop into social phobia.

I'm nowhere close to an expert, but that sounds like Tourette's Syndrome. The swearing thing that's associated with it is actually pretty rare.

I also get the urge to twitch, but only since I turned seventeen. I wish I knew why. That's also around the time I got depressed. Hm...

Uhh, punching doesn't mean extremely problematic. A playful punch doesn't do anything at all.

That's true for mental problems that consist of wanting to watch TV, or constantly betraying your friends, for example. There are actual disorders that don't just get labled because they are differences; but because they are actual problems. That's the difference between someone who is a bit stupid and someone who can't speak, or can calculate Pi to 5000000 points in their head. Conditions are diagnosed only whenever they are considered serious enough to actually be a condition. These "differences" are different from other differences in that they aren't just an extreme form of something (ie, a person who gets more angry than other people isn't mentally disabled as anger is a human emotion, and they are just a little more touchy about it). Mental problems are strange things that for some reason, perhaps genetics; that's not my strong subject, occur randomly and more frequently than just random differences in people.

A difference becomes a problem when it affects the quality of a person's life.

A difference becomes a dianosed condition of mind when unrelated people are affected by a very similar condition.

The first depends on gender, the second one just hurts your hand lots.

Well, with the first gender what would make you a man lover. With the second gender that would make you normal.
Did you see what I did there?

Sometimes I have the need to move my foot and/ or hand.

I can control it if I'm out in public, but does anyone know what this could be?

I think I might have short-term memory loss. I'm not sure, though.

I have ADHD, general anxiety disorder, and Asperger's syndrome, all professionally diagnosed. There is also a chance that I am bipolar. I'm on medication--Zoloft, Wellbutrin, and Lamictal.

YES. SRSLY.

MIght as well say I have professionally diagnosed depression. Luckily, the Prozac takes care of that. Now, to make it so that I don't need it. THAT'S the hard part.

God is silly. First, he makes a mammal that looks like a duck beaver, then this.
