I never got that. "hey we took this off a piece of paper, this realm of existance no longer exists"

More like "We now realize this realm never existed, some priests just made it up a long time ago".

Seventh Level of Hell

Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

Wow. I admit I can be tempramental, but I'm not really violent.

I got the Sixth Level of Hell. Took it a while ago and probably got seven or eight. Ah well.

Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven.

I took this quiz a while back, and ended up getting the 6th level.

I remember that it said my level of Hereticness was extreme. Not just very high. Extreme.

Um.

Second Level of Hell
You have come to a place mute of all light, where the wind bellows as the sea does in a tempest. This is the realm where the lustful spend eternity. Here, sinners are blown around endlessly by the unforgiving winds of unquenchable desire as punishment for their transgressions. The infernal hurricane that never rests hurtles the spirits onward in its rapine, whirling them round, and smiting, it molests them. You have betrayed reason at the behest of your appetite for pleasure, and so here you are doomed to remain. Cleopatra and Helen of Troy are two that share in your fate.

I think this quiz could be a good way of seeing how you could make yourself a better person.
The only thing I don't agree with is that it's only black and white, especially the true/false bit, which is what annoys me sometimes about certain religious things. I don't think it's like a computer, one or zero. There are other things in between.

I think the thing that did it for me was clicking yes to "A man has every right to spend every penny of the money he earned" or whatever. Key word is earned there.

Also it might have been the "do you use the Lord's name in vain" too. Other than that I can't remember anything else.

I think the key word(s) are "every penny". It means you are stingy and don't give any to charity, don't like paying taxes, etc.

Oh, taxes, forgot about that. But if a guy worked hard for his cash then I see that he can spend it anyway he wants. Inheritance and finding money is different.

Even though they haven't been on Earth long enough to sin? Eh, makes no difference how it works to me. My babies will get baptized anyway.

Fifth Level of Hell

The river Styx runs through this level of Hell, and in it are punished the wrathful and the gloomy. The former are forever lashing out at each other in anger, furious and naked, tearing each other piecemeal with their teeth. The latter are gurgling in the black mud, slothful and sullen, withdrawn from the world. Their lamentations bubble to the surface as they try to repeat a doleful hymn, though with unbroken words they cannot say it. Because you lived a cruel, vindictive and hateful life, you meet your fate in the Styx.

Oh well. what happens, happens...if there IS indeed a afterlife.

This thread is just for fun, and while it's based on real religion, the logic it operates under is based on what is pretty much universally considered fiction. And it allows the people with more wholesome, laid-back lifestyles to be elitist jerks for once. PURGATORY PRIDE, HOES!

*falls into Limbo for excessive vanity*

Nope, they excised it from the official doctrine last year. Which means unbaptized babies now officially go to hell. D:

I thought I had heard it was the other way around; they got rid of limbo so unbaptized babies could go to heaven.

Catholics believed the Limbo was the place where babies went. I think now they officially teach that a baby could go to heaven if they were intended to be baptized and were going to, but not necessarily.
