What are some of the sounds that you love to hear?

For some reason, I've always liked the sound of gunfire and explosions. I also really like that sound that a jar of Planter's peanuts makes when you open it for the first time. I really like the sound of horses galloping, too. So, what about you?

The crack of a baseball bat, and the ring of a driver hitting a golf ball.

And high, punchy bass notes are nice too.

THE HILLS ARE ALIIIIIIIIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUUUUUUSIIIIIIIIIC

Nah, but seriously... I dunno. I think my favorite sound is... quiet. That and maybe the hum of my computer. But mostly quiet.

I like the sound paper makes when it moves, like when you turn a page or go through a pile of papers.
I also like the sound of old keyboards. CHUCKA CLACKA CLACK CHUCK CLACK CHUCK CHUCK

Sounds I like:
-Violine/Strings
-bass (yeah, the mixture, I know. ;))
-some voices (an example for male voices I like is Bob Lind, an example for female voices is Linsey de Paul. There aren't any voices at H*R that fit the pattern, unfortunately).
-humming sound(made by a generator or maybe a fridge)
-rain
-waves

Sounds I dislike:
-Ringing cell phones!
-loud voices
-all birds making any other noises than singing
-as a matter of fact, any loud sounds at all

I'll never tire of the sound a Scout's bat makes when it contacts flesh.

Unless somebody was doing something horribly wrong, you've never heard a violin being played in country music. What you heard was a fiddle.

Thunder is awesome, once it was all crackly and explosion-sounding in the sky when I was in my back yard. It was AWESOME.
