Do any of you guys have a sing that you associate with yourself. A song that descibes you, describes your personality, or how you look.

Mine is Got the Life by KoRn.

Hard to say, there are a lot of facets to my being, it'd be hard to pick just one.

But off the top of my head...I'd have to say "Defying Gravity" from the musical Wicked for now.

Probably "Absolutely Bill's Mood" by They Might Be Giants. Because sometimes I really do feel insane. And I really do hear people calling me sometimes (usually my mom, usually at Safeway).

The song that immediately comes to mind is Kid Rock's "You've Never Met a .... Like Me".. Not that I like Kid Rock, his music usually annoys me, but the idea of that song, basically "I've been a lot of places and done a lot of things", really fits my life.

The first couple of lines from Big & Rich's "Big Time" sound as if they were written about me, and I quote:"My hair might be a little too long for your tastes my friend. My car might cost a little less that that suit you're wearing"

Finally, Bob Segar's "Turn the Page" (later covered very well by Metallica) was something that really described me.

So, in summary, I really can't think of any one song that is my theme song. A lot of different songs could fill this position.

John Williams' "Darth Vader."

No, seriously. I don't really know if I have a "theme music" per se, but I am pretty sure it has a high-tech Freestyle beat. (blah, blah, blah, click my banner, blah, blah blah).

Probably "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" by Billy Joel. Pocky says I tend to fall too hard, too fast, so I sometimes see myself getting married right out of high school, and then a divorce not long afterwards.

"Mind's Eye" by Wolfmother really describes me.

"Come and see the Mind's Eye, we can't find it if we tried"

Shout it out loud-KISS

I chose this song because it really sums up my idea of living life to the fullest. Some of the resons I like KISS so much is because alot of their songs seem to be about having fun and stuff like that. I know this sounds immature and all, but really why not have fun all the time? If you're sad or angry, let it go! Why be miserable? Blast your music and be goof, it's alot better then being sad and depressed.

I don't really know. If I had one, it'd probably be something upbeat and have no lyrics, but I just can't decide.

Shouldn't this be in the Getting To Know You section?

Anyway, my theme song is probably Nothing's Gonna Change My Clothes by They Might Be Giants. It just seems like me. You know?

Does it matter?

There is a line in Time by Pink FLoyd that can be used to describe me. It goes.

You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today,
But then one day you come to find ten years has got behind you,
no one told you when to run, you've missed the starting gun.

If you can't guess it, I am one of the worst procrastinators in the world.

Eh, it would have to be something having to do with Pink Floyd :p I'd say iiit's *thinks for a moment* Wish you were here, I don't know why, it just seems to fit...sorta like I gave up my good grades for something else, though not sure what the something else is...and I was wrong in doing it...speaking of which I'm cutting in to my study time....

A Thousand Years by theSTART. Yes, that's exactly what everyone was expecting: a theSTART song.

You were right; you were bigger than me
I no longer see the sun, you have eclipsed it
When you left, you reflected back the light
The glow of a million creatures with hope burning bright

I will wait for you a thousand years
You're retrograde like planets slipping backwards
I will wait for you one thousand more
One thousand promises, one thousand last good-byes

I dunno what it specifically is, but I'm really in a deep, dark, black place in my life right now and this seems to describe it perfectly.

My theme song would either be Across the Universe by The Beatles or The Pretender by Jackson Browne.
2 complete opposite songs on the subject-spectrum.

Rewrite. By Asian Kung Fu Generation. It's in Japanese, but the beat is awesome.

And just take a look here at the translation of the chorus:
Erase and rewrite
The pointless ultra-fantasy
Revive
The unforgettable sense of being
Rewrite
The meaningless imagination
The driving force that creates you
Give it your whole body and soul

~<3 So me. Er...not really...but...there's also like:
After cutting my feelings that grew, I regret
After realizing that after all, I'm just a mediocrity, I cry
A depressed heart
A dirty lie

That is so me.

Whenever me and my friends play Halo, we always make up theme songs for our characters. We often play as "Default" which gives a random name. So far we've come up with Hey Goose (Hey Jude), Don't Stop thinkin' about Mephisto (Don't Stop thinkin' about Tomorow) and Come on Def In (Come on Eileen)

For me it's Losing Grip By Avril Lavigne.

Why should I care?
You wern't there when I was scared,
I was so alone.
You, you need to listen.
I'm starting to trip,
I'm losing my grip,
and I'm in this thing alone

That should tell you something about how I feel about my friends sometimes.

I'm gonna have to change my answer.

Personality: Peacocks by theSTART

Looking out of the window, and I'm
Staring out at the sky
Swimming stars or not. I'll stay with you
And if you cannot fly, I'll fashion a device
To fasten wings to your shoulders, and I'll
Take you up to the sky
And then the two of us, we will rise up
We'll have to close our eyes, so not to see the lies

Looks: Gorgeous by theSTART :p
