Probably either "Shoes 'n' Hats" by Smashmouth or "Falling for The First Time" by the Barenaked Ladies.

The first is all about being someone different in a world of everybody being the same, which fits me perfectly. I'm a nonconformist who has to be somebody else, somebody true to herself, someone who you know without a doubt is the way she is because she doesn't make sense any other way.

Quote:
In a dead man's car
Going to the show,
In my old chapeu,
Well it's full of holes
But it's got more soul
Than
Them,
They,
Who are they anyway?
They're just beatin' each other
At bein' each other
With nothing to say...

The second has a lot to do with paradox, which feels fitting sometime. The first line I leech on to: "I'm so cool, / too bad I'm a looser." Around "my kind of people,"--freaks, geeks, and the great gamut of dorkery--I'm way cool and awesome. To the hoi polloi, I'm a really strange nerd. And I dig the chorus:

Quote:
Anyone perfect must be lying,
Anything easy has its cost.
Anyone plain can be lovely,
Anything loved can be lost.

I believe that, yanno? Nothing's perfect, and that's how it should be. There's no such thing as a free lunch. True beauty is within. And nothing can last forever, so it's important to cherish every moment.

Either Superman or Wasted by Goldfinger. They show so much of how I feel inside. Goldfinger's songs describe me so much.

I can't think of anything except that i wish there were a mix between:
Experimental Film- TMBG
Anything But Ordinary- Avril Lavigne
Yellow Submarine- The Beatles
Awesome, rockin', and random, all in one sitting!

Mixing super-awesome (TMBG and The Beatles) with Avril Lavigne is blasphemy of the highest degree.

Let's see...either What is Love?, Funkytown, or the eye of the tiger.

That song is so inspirational.

Maybe if I had to chose one, I'd pick Homecoming by Green Day.

"You Can't Handle This"-by Five Iron Frenzy

I like this song because I can identify with the nerdy part of it.

Part of it goes:

"Making young girls pine,
Haven't got the time,
Ladies get in line
I've got a protractor!"

And the chorus:

"No, no, no,
You can't handle this!"

A truely amazing song.

There's a place in the world for the angry young man
With his working-class ties and his radical plans
He refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl
And he's always at home with his back to the wall
And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost
And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on his cross
And he likes to be known as the angry young man

Give a moment or two to the angry young man
With his foot in his mouth and his heart in his hand
He's been stabbed in the back, he's been misunderstood
It's a comfort to know his intentions are good
And he sits in a room with a lock on the door
With his maps and his medals laid out on the floor
And he likes to be known as the angry young man

I believe I've passed the age
Of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight
I once believed in causes too
I had my pointless point of view
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right
OHHHHHHHH

And there's always a place for the angry young man,
With his fist in the air and his head in the sand
And he's never been able to learn from mistakes,
So he can't understand why his heart always breaks
And his honor is pure and his courage as well,
And he's fair and he's true and he's boring as hell
And he'll go to the grave as an angry old man

There's a place in the world for the angry young man
With his working-class ties and his radical plans
He refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl
And he's always at home with his back to the wall
And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost
And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on his cross
And he likes to be known as the angry young man

…all that except for the heart always breaks thing

I know there's already a thread, but I don't feel like resurrecting it…

*stares awkwardly at BTG*

Uhm... for me, ATM, it's Going in Blind by POD.

Just part of the lyrics:
Time after time
I walk the fine line
Something keeps bringing me back
But time after time,
I can't see the signs
I don't know which way I need to go...
Do all these roads lead me back to you?

Srsly missing someone now.

Who it is? For me to know, and you juys to never find out.

I remember having no idea what my theme song was when this thread first started.

I still don't know.

Yeah.

It doesn't have any lyrics.

I'm just that deep.

Pulse of the Maggots by Slipknot. Besides being a great song, it's a good song to get pumped up to, making it a solid theme song.

Probably either Aerodynamik by Kraftwerk, Roundabout by Yes, Knights of Cydonia by Muse, Tonto by Battles, or Paradigm Shift by Liquid Tension Experiment.

YES I AM INDISCISIVE

Besides Got the Life, I'd say that Faget by KoRn was my theme song for high school. That song sums up everything I felt from Jr. High to High School.

I'm just a pretty boy, whatever you call it
You wouldn't know a real man if you saw it
It keeps going on day after day, son
you fake, if we don't want none
I'm sick and tired of people treating me this way everyday
Who gives a f***?!
Right now I got something to say to all the people that think
I'm strange and I should be out here locked up in a cage
You don't know what the hell is up now anyway
You got this pretty-boy feeling
like I'm enslaved to a world that never
appreciated s***
YOU CAN SUCK MY D*** AND F****** LIKE IT!!!

BafBaf! on the Gurren Lagann Official Soundtrack.

This song just screams "sun rising over the hill, epic steps, and then EXPLOSIONS" all over the place

Mine would definitely be "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast.

With a dreamy far off look
and her nose stuck in a book
what a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle.

It's perfect for any bibliophile.

Is this a private party or may I join?

I'd like to think that either The A Team's theme song would suffice for my own, or else Canonball by FIF or else Bohemian Rhapsody.

New theme for me.

(And Ido.. PLZ JOIN XD)

Easier to Run by Linkin Park (ANGST FORTHEWIN!)

Ok... so I mainly just relate to the chorus.

If I could change I would
Take back the pain I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made I would
If I could take all the shame to the grave I would

It's easier to run
Replacing this pain with something numb
It's so much easier to go
Than face all this pain here all alone

And this little bit of lyrics:
Sometimes I remember
The darkness of my past
Bringing back these memories
I wish I didn't have
Sometimes I think of letting go
And never looking back
And never moving forward so
There'd never be a past...

... Can you tell I'm in a srsly depressed mood right now? D:
