So, I play the viola. I may record some of my playing for the world to hear. Here are things I'll play:
Cliffs of Dover
Saria's Song
The Pink Panther
Peter Gunn

Feel free to make requests.

Composing a song is hard. Seriously, the last two weeks I've been fiddling around with a chord progression, and I can't even get it to sound remotely good.

You can't just mash on strings and call it a song. (Which is why I hate Running Blind.)

Go for it, play me Cliffs of Dover.

I agree wholeheartedly. A cover'll be just fine.

I actually do have some stuff I've written, so I may play that too.

I also play the electric bass guitar, which may be where I play CoD.

The covers that you're going to do seem pretty swell. Since you have Saria's Song on the list, I'd be incredibly happy if you did the Hyrule Field themes for both Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, as well (the latter being the horseback version, if you'd like to).

Saria's song is a great song. I think it would sound very nice on the viola. One question though, is it just the short version that's played on the Ocarina, or is it the full Lost Woods theme? I'm guessing the full theme, but I'd just like to make sure. I'd love to hear that one.

If you are a fan of the Kirby series, (which sadly, not many people are) you should really try to learn either stage 1 of Kirby's Block Ball, or Butter Buildings from Kirby's Adventure. I can play both of those on the Piano. I think they would be fairly easy to learn (except the one part in Butter Buildings that has a lot of notes played really quickly together.) Just a thought.

I'm going to start a symphonic/neo-classical/progressive metal/rock band. On our first album, we will have the following and more:
-Various Vivaldi violin concertos but with swing rhythms
-"Cliffs of Dover"-Eric Johnson
-"Bulls on Parade"-Rage Against the Machine (except all the lyrics would be burped)

Okay, you just said "Neo-Classical" so now you're a Bad word who thinks too highly of himself.

And I'd rather listen to Victor Wooden anyday.

I'm sorry. I should've used a guitarist. I just didn't feel like it.
