What is this, you ask?

It's just basically one of those things.

Like, where someone writes the first part of a story, then sends it to a second person, who adds onto it, then they send it to a third person, and so on. And where the person writing only gets the last part that was written, not the whole thing. And then at the end it comes around to the one who wrote the first part of the story and they take all the parts and then wrap it all up with a satisfying (or not) ending.

I know those things are done a lot, but I dunno the name, which explains my odd title.

So, a bit more instructions:

First, another user will PM you with what they've done in the story. Then, your job is to (obviously) write another part. Make it whatever length you please, but I really would appreciate it if it was a page or more. Not too long, though– remember, people are actually going to read it when we're done! Then, when you've written it, PM what you've done to the next participant in the group.

You should also send a copy to the person who started the story. He'll need it for the end.

So... I'm going to start this first one off. Signups for 8 people! (That will make it have 10 parts, since I'm doing the first and last bits.)

1. Myrrh
2. Color Printer
3. Bugkiss
4. Magna Carta
5. Buhubs
6. Exhibit A
7. Homeschool Winner
8. this-guy

Please do not sign up unless you're ABSOLUTELY SURE you are going to pull through and get this done. If you slack off and forget to do it, you pretty much ruin it for everybody.

Also, please don't sign up if you don't have grammar and spelling that meets my very high standards.

This sounds cool, but I don't think I have enough time to do it. Ah well, it'll be fun to read.

Einoo, you didn't have to include me, but if you're going to have signups that are free to anyone, you can't go around whining that a person you dislike has signed up.

Suck it up and accept it, this is not the 'flame buhubs thread', this is something Einoo T. Spork put in the 'Arts & Crafts', the blindly write a story project.

That's all I ask for alright?

Can I join?

Or not. Einoo is probably on the "GTFO CINDY" bandwagon.

Point taken. I won't be all grudging and reluctant then.

[s]I also will let TcT/Dndrhead/Cindy/Whatever join in. BUT HE HAS TO PROMISE TO BEHAVE. AND BAKE ME A CAKE. YOU SAID YOU'D BAKE ME A CAKE, CINDY. WHERE IS IT?![/s]

Never mind, there's not enough spots left for him. Sorry, dude! You can join next time!

I didn't care.

And uh, When did I say I'd bake you a cake?

(If you have proof(other than this post, loopholes lol) that I did say I'd bake you a cake, I still will)

In his post he said that you have to bake him a cake. There-a-fore you must bake him a cake.

That's not a very good loophole.

Just to be clear on the rules, when we finish our part, we send it to both the next person in line AND you, right?

Now, would one send the next person both one's own part and those that came before it, or just the one part?

You only send the part you wrote. That's what makes it interesting, each person only knows as much about what's going on as they can figure out from the part the previous person wrote.

Exhibit A is right. Too bad there are no such thing as Exhibit A snacks.

Seems as though Myrrh's just too dang busy, so I'm gonna send what I've got so far to Color Printer. Myrrh's gonna do her part just before I wrap everything up. Because I couldn't just skip her. She's my special friend. D:

Stay out of this, Homeschool. I don't want to have to hurt you.

I'm suspecting you post the story at the end? Because this sounds like it could be really entertaining.

More like, I don't want to have to... let myself get hit by you, then cry and go in a corner so you'll feel really bad that you hit poor Homeschool, then I'll claim Myrrh's heart while you're mired in guilt.

...Oh yeah, I'm a force to be reckoned with.
