I could do a decent bass track, but due to my lack of equipment, someone with the proper program would have to rip the audio.

If you can record and upload it, then I can mix it.

The only way I could do that would be either with a video or a mobile phone.

A video would probably have better sound quality.

P'tates: Still doing drums?

Yeah. I made a MIDI of what I wanted to do, and now I'm tabbing it out. I'll probably have it by tonight or tomorrow.

I should be done a little while after Tater makes the drum track. I'm gonna need to base it off of that, because the timing of the guitar track is weird.

I can redo it. It's not very hard.

If you want to. I don't think it's completely necessary, but go ahead and do it if you want.

EDIT: Tabbed out part of the bass part that matches the guitar almost completely:

Code:
E|3h4---------------------
A|------------------------
D|---4h5p4----------------
G|------------------------

This isn't the entire thing, and I also came up with an opening riff, which I have yet to make the tabs for.

Woah, awesome. Your skillz and recording equipment are way better than mine.

EDIT: I'm gonna record a second guitar track for this. I'll have it up sometime tomorrow.

Know anyone with Rockband? I heard you can plug that into the computer and download a drive for it somewhere. If you have a couple of free USB ports and get a couple of mics, that would be perfect, I think. Even one will work though. The cable for the mic is like 20 ft. long, so it should be long enough.

Yeah, that's what I'm using to record stuff.

EDIT:
You don't have to install any drivers. It uses your computer's built-in USB drivers.

Unfortunately, nope. I'll bug my parental unit to buy me a USB mic, though.

I recorded it with a couple different tones.
A little bit o' grit.
My amp's highest distortion level.
Clean.

It'd be cool to layer all of them but my timing is kinda inconsistent. I can redo stuff if I need to.

EDIT:
Just so's you know, the silence/noise at the beginning of them isn't supposed to be there, I just forgot to edit it out.

EDIT DEUX:
Anyone up for doing a cover version of the ATHF theme song?

Just started working on an improvised solo (that's bound to be sloppy), I'll get a video up sometime here.
Edit: For an ATHF cover, wouldn't we need like 3 people that can rap?

If Homeslice decides to do rhythm guitar, you can do vocals. If he decides to do vocals, you can do rhythm guitar.

iand93 wrote:

Harder than what I started out playing, but easy nonetheless.

ALSO: Everyone involved should share a MySpace Music page. A name would be cool beyond reason.
