2 vocalists is fine. 3 guitarists may be too many, unless we can work something out.

Also, final version of the bass to this song:

Code:
Main riff:
G|--------------|
D|5h6p5---5h6p5~|
A|--------------|
E|3h4--3h4------|

Second half of the song:
G|------------------------|
D|---7h8p7-----------7h8p7|
A|5h6-----5-5/7-5-5/7-----|
E|------------------------|

h=Hammer-on p=Pull-off ~=Let ring

Maiden has 3 guitarists and they still utterly rule.

K, I'm good with three guitarists.

Hay guys, remember the cover that Putin did like forever ago? Well, I present to you a "finished" version, in the sense that it will probably end up being the final product unless someone here has something else they think they'd like to add to it.

Anyway, here.

Just for the record...

putitinyourshoe – guitar, bass
Inverse Tiger – vocals
Einoo T. Spork – accordion, keyboard

I imported all the tracks we already recorded in Audacity to GarageBand and fiddled with the effects and equalization and such.

Yay.

For whatever reason, I'm reminded of the Gorillaz when listening to that.

The bass part will be made this weekend. I've been delaying due to a dissatisfying sound that I had to fix.

I'm having some trouble recording with my kit so far away.
I think I'll just post a MIDI later.
Or, I could set up a rig with a recycling bin as the bass drum (my bass drum is the main problem, the far away mic isn't picking it up very well) and move my snare, hi-hat, floor tom and crash closer to the computer.

Oh, also, I came up with another song. After we finish this one, I'll post the bass.

It's not that I don't want to, theres just not much use for me in this song. It'll sound fine without me.
Edit: Potates, when Abu and I had a band (yeah, I know we sucked, ok?!) we'd record the guitar and bass at the same time by putting a microphone between the two amps, then the drummer and singer would record. We'd put a microphone on an empty trash can, and put it so the part of the microphone that you speak into was facing them. It picked up everything crystal clear.

No, that's not the problem, it's that my microphone is too far away from my kit.

Weird, when I tried solo recording, I had a problem with the bass drum being too loud, you couldn't hear the crash at all.

The recycling bin bass drum idea actually sounds pretty cool.

I still like the idea of an ATHF theme cover.

EDIT: Well, I don't think I can do it anymore, actually. I tried to record, it came out like this. Why?

Also, UH-OH, LANGUAGE IN THE TITLE!

I'd like to do vocals now that I found out everything I record on bass will sound sloppy.

Wait, if we're doing an ATHF cover, are we doing the TV or Movie version?

You have Rock Band, right? Just use the mic and record to Audacity. That's what I do.

Dunno. They're both pretty awesome.

GOOD GOD THAT SOUNDS TERRIBLE!

Ugh. That's seriously what I sounded like when I first started playing and tried to use guitar overdrive.
