So I knew there was no way AFL would be a full novel considering how far I got after six pages, and I began to lose patience in the story anyway, so I decided to make a series about the apocalypse with multiple stories on multiple accounts, and I made Apocalypse Front Line the first volume. I'm trying to make it as short as I can, here's what I have so far. I'll post more as I get more done. ================================================= A hush shadow fell over Mendocino, California. The End was at the edge of western civilization. Less than a year earlier, The End had been in Australia, relentlessly murdering everyone in sight. They had a very important operation; the world had to end. They progressed west smoothly, using little caution. This resulted in a fatal snag in their plan. In Eastern Europe, The End had used up all the Souls in Hell. The End was no longer to act as irresponsibly as they once had. As if mortality wasn’t enough, forces from around the globe (the parts that aren’t in ruins, of course) were alerted to The End. The End fled, defending themselves against the multiple threats. They ended out as far west as they could… the California coastline. This caused a major uprising in the remaining government. The End was wise to all tricks, however. They were aware of their options: they could cover the borders of the state, they could take the offensive, or they could do nothing and just wait. They decided on the final. The End got together. The General stood up. “On your journey, you’ve seen bloodshed. You’ve seen hate. You’ve seen everything imaginable… but what you will see when the Mortals arrive will be unlike anything…” his voice trailed off. He stood down and walked away panicked. The End followed after. Meanwhile, the Mortals were marching closer… ================================================= Be brutal, but not too brutal... Edit: I just remembered how bad this is. Eeee.
