Lot long ago, a number of people found out they were important. Not important in the sense that they were rich, athletically gifted and so on. No, they were important because they were fighting for their lives.

They knew they were "in" this competition.

All corners of the globe played host to a spectacle that no one saw. Beautiful serenity and peacefulness was smashed to bits by the "tut-tut-tut" of a machine gun, the BOOM of an explosion and the cries of the people.

But why have people forgotten?

Some claim to have seen it, but they aren't the people you'd hear from, let alone trust. Ask anyone in your street or town about it and you'll get a negative response.

Get a chance to talk to the people involved, and they'll be happy to tell you all about

The Fight The World Didn't Remember.

We begin our story in Akehabara, Japan...

Chapter 1 - "Electric Town Boogaloo"
======================================================================
Akehabara, Japan
2nd February, 2008
11:00 am

Akehabara. Bustling. Booming. Bright.

Look around anywhere near the station and you see why it's called Electric Town. Futuristic lights and buildings cover almost every corner of the city. Big advertisements sprawl across the metropolis.

Thousands, if not Millions walk these streets every day. But one person ran.

A blur to many observers.

His black jumpsuit stood him out from the crowd. His arm full with what looked to be a package.

Dodging, weaving, moving, sprinting.

He was running from someone.

"STOP!" The yell came from many a metre behind the man. This man didn't stand out as much. Beige coat. Long black pants. He looked normal.

"I SAID STOP!"

...no stopping the man. He kept running. It was a chase, and by the looks of it he was after the package. Suddenly the "hunted" took a sharp left turn and the chase went inside. Hundreds of startled civilians jumped out of the way as the "hunted" almost barged through.

Stairs. Lift. Stairs......

He made the decision:

Lift. People jumped out of the way again as he dived into the lift and began frantically pushing the close door button as the "chaser" got close.

Not close enough. The "hunted" once again got an edge.

Eighth....

He ran up the stairs, hoping to get the jump on his escapee. It was close.

The hunted looked at the package. He rattled it.

It was a small object. The doors suddenly opened with a loud "ding". He was close to the post office.

"GET OUT OF THE WAY!" was the scream heard as the people all made way. Like a guard of honour. He then proceeded to run down the other steps, as an escape plan.

The chaser came up the stairs only to see the chased go down the others. He kept running.

They were finally back out onto the street and they were near the steps of the office.

The chased was looking like he'd get away scot free.

I didn't want to resort to this. The chaser pulled out his gun. BANG!

......Right in the chest. He fell down like a sack of potatoes.

He walked over to the man's bloody, lifeless body.

Pulse....pretty much non-existent.

However, the package hadn't been touched. He picked it up. The blood staining the cardboard package.

Abel 'Ace' Rehman

He looked down further and was intrigued.

This stuff looks interesting.

Hopefully the ending won't leave a billion questions unanswered this time. ;)

Chapter 2 - "Red Square-off"
(a bit shorter)
======================================================================
Moscow, Russia
Dinamo Stadium
12th February 2008, 9:30 pm

Full time.

CSKA won. The cries of celebration go up from the crowd. About 28,000 screaming supporters celebrated a hard fought victory, as 1 of those people began the walk down to the city streets.

It was Abel Rehman. 23 year old, American, wealthy and successful businessman. Had several shares in big companies - HSBC, Rio Tinto and Vodafone, just to name a few, and also had interest in many sports teams, the reason why he was at the game in a private box. Food, wine.....He was hard to recognise, though, his big coat almost disguising him from the thousands of fans filtering outside. He found a taxi, hailed it and got in.

"Izenka Street, please". As the cab sped off, the driver turned the radio on. An unintelligible gibberish filled Abel's ears.

It was Russian. He settled in for the drive. As he reflected on his possible buying venture, flipping through the documents, he thought about the team. Could it be financially viable? Would the fans approve of it?

His phone went off. He put his documents aside and pulled it out of his pocket. A text.

.....unknown number. He pressed Read and was confused.

Peek-a-boo. I see you.

He was weirded out. He didn't take any notice afterwards and kept filling out the documents.

HSBC......name......Abel Rehman....

When the car got close to his house, he saw a strange figure. He never saw him before. He paid the driver, 20 dollars, and got out of the car. His eyes still fixated on the man standing in his driveway.

"Uh hello, do I know you?"

...

...

I have a package for you.
