Already taken care of. I hope it gets here before Christmas this year. Last year it wasn't delivered until January. |

Yeah, all we know right now is a bonus "Limozeen: But They're In Space" cartoon. I want something that is as freaking funny as "Why Come Only One Girl?" THAT CARTOON WAS Great |

Question: Who added "Sbemail 150?!?" to the list in the article? It's already on Disc Five of the sbemails, isn't it? Well, you got TGS issue 6 and clip from H*R Pay Plus on EE vols 1 and 2, so I guess one oughta be careful about what will be added and where it shouldn't be added. Y'know, I sometimes wonder how TBC pull off bonus stuff, including the Limozeen in space cartoon, when they often update every week and take small breaks. One bit at a time perhaps? |

I would love to have these DVDs, so I could have something H*R-type to watch in case either A) the Internet is having issues or B) I go on a long vacation trip (my laptop computer has a built-in DVD player). Also, where are the puppet shows. Two have been created in the timeframe covered by the DVD: --Homestar vs. Other Little Girl --Marshie vs. (Not-So-) Little Girl |

If somebody who is better at wiki formatting than I am would like to update the page... The current list of toons is largely correct but we need to add: Marzipan's Answering Machine 13 Marzipan's Answering Machine 14 Homestar Runner vs Other Little Girl and remove: Limozeen vs Sloshy More info (and scans) once I have time to actually look at the DVD (after my daughter goes to bed tonight). |

Some general info: The Activision / Atari 2600 theme runs throughout all the menus and packaging and stuff. *"For use with DVD remote" evokes the old "For use with joystick" or "For use with paddle controller" text on Atari game boxes. * The FBI Warning features the Videlectrix guy running, tripping and giving a thumbs up. * Letting the main menu sit too long brings up a Puppet Stuff scene where the cartridge malfunctions and puppet Homestar blows in it to fix it for Puppet Strong Bad. * The graphics and music for all the menus are old skool. - Main Page has a big flashy title, the year 1982, and poorly rendered Homestar and SB heads. - Toons features a loop of H*R running in the field and jumping over the Stick, Marshie and other assorted stuff. - Shorts features the KOT atop a castle dropping turkey legs. - Holiday features The Cheat running around a Dig Dug like maze collecting various powerups. - The Other Features menu is a weird cross between Pong and Warlords wherein SB and H*R heads shoot squares at each other and hide behind floating shields. - Bonus shows us the Limozeen ship shooting guitars and picking up ladies with a tractor beam in a very Defender looking scenario. The Bonus Page has the Limozeen toon, Limozeen Thanksgiving E-Cards and the Cheat Game. The Cheat Game is a 3-D maze where you click which direction you want to go, (For use with arrow keys!) collecting keys and getting advice from Bubs, Strong Mad etc and avoiding getting eating by a freakin' duck. Found a couple Easter Eggs... In the Toons menu, selecting Strongest Man In The World and hitting RIGHT a few times (or just moving your mouse left if you're on a PC) will play the original SMITW book with narration. Click down on the Bonus page and SB makes a big announcement as though introducing Limozeen from his room. As far as I can tell, these are the only two Eggs in the menus. |

Yes, it is. I don't think I'd seen it before. I've updated the wiki accordingly. Thanks! |

So tell me, Unmutual, did you find any commentaries? If so, where? |
|
| Author: | Unmutual [ Fri Nov 16, 2007 4:11 pm ] |
| Post subject: | |
There's a commentary track on everything I've watched so far, except for the answering machines. Strong Bad, Homestar and Fightgar have made guest appearances. I still need to watch the TGS and H*R vs Other Little Girl. I'll get on that right now. Homestar's commentary was on No Hands On Deck. SB was on Drive-Thru. My daughter has asked me to sign this with a Marzipan icon.

It looks like the only feature repeated is the Original Book for "Strongest Man in the World." I'm also considering starting an article on 1982 because it seems to me that the Brothers Chaps are heavily fond of using it for the year some games and whatnot are copyrighted. |

Well, if there is an article on the year 1987 (another year the Bros. Chaps seem to be fond of using on the website), I don't see why it shouldn't happen. |

I just realized that the Find The Cheat game uses the C.H.E.A.T. splash screen which we've seen before. That should be wiki'd by somebody who isn't me as I'm off to dinner. |

Who does the commentaries on each of the discs? I know you mentioned Homestar, Strong Bad, Fightgar and Ryan Sterritt guest-commentating some of the toons, but where do they commentate anyway? More importantly, where do Mike and Matt comment? |

Hey, I just thought of something: if the menus of this DVD are spoofing retro video games like Unmutual says they are, I think they could spoof the primitive-CGI/video arcade-themed Saturday mornings on CBS. Here are some links to the commercial bumpers of this type so you can see what I mean (caution: you need Windows Media Player to view): 1982 commercial bumpers 1983 commercial bumpers Click on the links and tell me if whether or not you think the bumpers featured in the videos parallel video games like this DVD does. |

Oh wow. I remember those. The H*R menus are much more Atari 2600 level though. Far less advanced than those bumpers. Thanks for sharing though! Am I really the only person who bought the DVD? Seems like more of you should have it by now. Surely I'm not the only impulsive one. |

Maybe you could contribute to the H*R Wiki by adding a little bit of information in the incomplete articles on E.E. Vol 3. Those things haven't been touched since last week. I guess more than 50% of those who go to H*R.com plan to get it for X-berween. What I dread is ticking off people when they see/hear spoilers. |

Has anyone else got the DVD yet? If so, can anyone put up a picture of the interior of the DVD cover (displaying the screenshots and the contents) without the disc inside? I'm trying to see what the screenshots are, but on the article, most of them are hidden behind the disc, making it tough to see what they all are. Can anyone upload a picture of the inside of the DVD? |
