I fail to see them on your Fanstuff page. I think you should give them their own section on the main menu (is "SBCG4AP ads" a good name?) but not include the ads that merely play game clips.

You know, I was just thinking, when the games finally come (if they do; I haven't heard any news of them yet), maybe we could conjure up actual toon versions of them.

But if Wii owners and PC owners already bought the games, would they anyone bother watching the toon versions?

POST-SBCG4AP RELEASE EDIT: I must also note that Homestar Ruiner's plot would be extremely dull and lame if you take away the entire "control Strong Bad and explore Free Country" gimmick. Look how the Mario movie turned out.

Double posting seems like the only way to get noticed in the store forum.

Do you plan to add "Behind the Bad" to your DVD?

Is "Behind the Bad" like a development on the character of Strong Bad? If so, I think it could also go on the Strong Bad Emails DVD. It could go either way, frankly.

EDIT: Never mind, I know what it is about now; yeah, I guess it could work as a bonus.

Actually, I decided to go and scrap the SBCG4AP section and remove most of the contents from there. The SBCG4AP Ad and Workin' On the Game will now be on the Other Features section. And the Gameways bit will now be an Easter egg on the Strong Bad Email DVDs. And the Toons section will now feature not just Big Toons, but also any toons that are above four minutes in length, including "The Next Epi-snowed" and, to a lesser degree, "Limozeen vs. Sloshy".

But with the SBCG4AP section gone, what should we do with the Saturday morning-themed section? I kinda grew fond of the "Strong Badd Video" title section. Yes, I deliberately misspelled the "Badd" part, so it could be a reference to Kidd Video, which aired on NBC in the mid-80s.

Anyway, with the SBCG4AP section gone, what show can be sacrificed with it? I like both Strong Badd Video and Saturday Mornideo Games.

Maybe Limozeen in Space? It already had a menu in Everything Else 3. And are you keeping the SBCG4AP Gameplay Trailer (the one with the wigs)?

No, I'm not keeping that one. And also, Limozeen In Space is actually a bonafide series, just like "Homestar Mysfit-steries". But like you said, they do have a menu themed to Limozeen on EE3, so...

My 2nd choice for removal would be Cheat Commandos, since they had their own menu on Everything Else Volume 2.

But I never had a Cheat Commandos-themed section at all. Here are the TV shows, based on the sections of my DVD:

  • TOONS: "The Babies of Free Country, USA" (featuring the "middle school" versions of the characters seen in the email HIGHSCHOOL)
  • SHORTS: "Limozeen: 'but they're in space!'"
  • HOLIDAYS: "The Homestar Runner Mysfit-steries" (with the teen versions of the characters also from HIGHSCHOOL)
  • SBCG4AP: "Saturday Mornideo Games" (from the email WEB COMICS)
  • OTHER FEATURES: "The Perfectly Baffling World of H.R. Hurricanesnstuf" (referenced in the email UNNATURAL)
  • BONUS: "Strong Badd Video"

So based on the list, what could be removed after SBCG4AP is gone? The Limozeen one is a likely candidate and I'm kinda leaning toward that one, but I just want other peoples' opinions first.

H.R. Hurricane n' stuff.

I like H.R. Hurricanesnstuf, though. I've decided that Limozeen In Space would be removed.

No, I'm not keeping that one.

You mind if I ask why not? Because from what I've read, it's the best-loved SBCG4AP ad. Further evidence includes the fact it was the first Strong Bad video to play on the Nintendo Channel.

Well, that would be best as a bonus feature on any or all of the actual games themselves. That is, if they were ever actually released in product form in the store.

Will you include Baddest of the Bands Promo Spot and Dangeresque Puppet Squad?

Baddest of the Bands Promo Spot, no. Dangeresque Puppet Squad, yes.

I just had an idea: what if the DVD featured, as one of the random commercials, a slightly revised version of the SBCG4AP Gameplay Trailer?

I think maybe instead of showing the full Limozeen vs. Sloshy toon (and also the Hooked On Decemberween toon), they just feature as separate Easter eggs the Easter eggs in those toons.

Hooked on Decemberween had no Easter Eggs. "If I Don't Get Video Games" was listed as one of the main songs.

Yes, but it would have to be featured on the DVD as an Easter egg.

Also, I'm having other ideas for how to theme the DVD besides just Saturday Morning cartoons. Can anyone come up with anything? When it was put up at the Fanstuff Wiki, someone else came up with a duplicate concept, replacing only the theme, which was of an amusement park (which may or may not be Mount RidesPlace).

Anyway, can anyone here come up with other concepts for the DVD theme?

Why can't "If I Don't Get Video Games" play automatically like on the website?

How do you mean?

When you let the record simply play all the songs in order, Brainkreig's video plays at the end.

Well, most of the songs have already been featured on the DVDs. And one of them would certainly be featured here, too. So I was thinking that they should eliminate the toon (which is quite long anyway) and put it as a separate Easter egg.

Why should it be an Easter Egg? Can't they just write "If I Don't Get Video Games" on the Holiday menu?

I don't know. It just feels like an Easter egg to me. And don't forget that the DVD can really only hold so much space at a time. According to some rough calculations, this DVD may already be reaching for two hours and counting and I just don't think there is a lot more that it can hold.

Doesn't it take up the same amount of space even if you don't write the name? :-S

This has nothing to word space. It's about time space; in others words, how much space a disc can hold, such as two or three hours at a time.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Whether it's an Easter Egg or a toon, shouldn't it take up the same amount of memory either way?

Well, maybe...

But what of some other ideas for to theme the DVD, besides Saturday morning TV? Themes used in the past were stately portraits (Volume 1), felt material (Volume 2) and 1980s video games (Volume 3), so what could we use for Volume 4's theme, besides Saturday morning TV?

Post subject:  Re: Everything Else, Vol. 4 DVD

We could make it a style of a sbemail dvd.

Heres a intro transcript:

(Cut to Strong Bad and Homestar in the field)

Strong Bad:I am the awesomest.

Homestar:No your not!

(Homestar seemingly punches Strong Bad)

Homestar:Oops. But anyway,we still need to record the rest of the intro...So...

(extreme closeup on Homestar)

Homestar:I'm the star!

(The paper comes down with the menu options and knocks down Homestar)

(Wait 30 seconds)

(Homestar gets back up)

Homestar:Your taking to long to make a decision.

Homestar:And The Paper, why are you here if this is a Everything else dvd?

(The paper goes back up.It comes down reading:)

Cause you did not make menu options.

Homestar:Well,I would have if you never came down!

(The paper goes back up.It goes back down with the menu options and knocks Homestar out again)
